Mattel Games UNO junior Card Game for Kids Ages 3+, 2-4 Players

My twin boys (aged 5) and I love playing this. Easy to transport and good quality - we have played at home, outside, restaurants, the airport. We started playing with the cards face up - but it’s a really easy concept and it was very quick to transition to proper play hiding the cards. A great introduction for little ones to test strategy - and even number identification. Love them.

Bought this for my 5-year-old and it's been a great introduction to card games. The pictures and simpler rules make it much easier than regular UNO, so she picked it up after just a couple of games. The cards are colourful and good quality, and it's something the whole family can play together. A nice way to keep little ones entertained without screens.

We love UNO, so we were excited to introduce it to our little girl. She soon got the hang of it and now loves joining in during family game nights. The junior version is much easier for younger children to follow, and we've also found it great for practising colour and number recognition. A fun game that grows with them.

Brilliant game, a favourite of my 4 year old. Poor quality case though, falls apart quickly as soon as you carry it with you anywhere. And I wouldn't pay anything like the £24 it's listed for on amazon at the moment!

Great game for families

Purchased as a little gift for my 6 yr old when i realised he had not played UNO before. I've always loved UNO and regard it as a classic that doesnt seem to get old. Very simple but engaging and fun card game that always creates an exciting and competitive atmosphere. If you've never played UNO before then i'd describe it as an advanced game of snap with several twists. The rules are simple enough for people of all ages to understand but complex enough to provide a decent game. Its always amazed me how strategic things end up getting for a simple game but it provides enough layers to really get into. Best played with 3 or more players but still fun even with just 2. This set is aimed at a younger audience and what separates it from the standard game is the addition of bright and colourful animal pics on the cards. Whilst these look great and are good for the kids, I have to admit to feeling a little cheated when we actually received the pack. Its labelled as a new way to match cards and whilst this is kind of true and adds another element for younger players to pick up on, its actually no different to just matching on number, as the numbers and animal pics align directly. This is very minor though and doesnt detract from the quality of the original game or the new fresh look of this pack. All in all, a great game thats fun and entertaining for just about everyone. You get enough cards in this pack for up to a 4 player game and it can be combined with standard or others UNO packs for a larger group too.

Lovely kid-friendly version of Uno. Good quality cards with nice illustrations. Love that the game has three different levels that helps to introduce the game to little ones in a simple way and build up the complexity slowly. Kept the kids and adults entertained for a long time.

Yo soy amante del típico juego de UNO, pero tengo un niño de 5 años que está entrando apenas en el mundo de los juegos de mesa, así que decidí comprar este set de cartas para jugar con él. Qué excelente decisión tomé! Las cartas son exactamente de la MISMA calidad que las de UNO (es decir, ni son más duras ni son más endebles), son idénticas entonces sí deben considerar eso si juegan con niños porque pues con mucha facilidad las pueden llegar a doblar o romper si no tienen cuidado. El PLUS de estas cartas es que tiene diseños de animales que lo hacen más divertido para los niños chiquitos que las típicas cartas de UNO con números. Y otra ventaja más es que no es TAN "agresivo" como el UNO normal, es decir, las cartas de cambio de color no te hacen "comer 4" y existen cartas de "come 1" para que los niños no se desesperen perdiendo con esas reglas tan "ofensivas". Entonces pues sí lo recomiendo muchísimo!

Ich habe mich bewusst für die Tieredition entschieden, weil die Tiere das Spiel für die Kleinen einfacher und gleichzeitig viel lustiger machen. Die Karten sind schön gestaltet und die verschiedenen Schwierigkeitsstufen sorgen dafür, dass das Spiel mit den Kindern mitwachsen kann. Bei uns kommt es richtig gut an und macht der ganzen Familie Spaß. Die Lieferung war schnell und der Preis ist absolut in Ordnung. Klare Kaufempfehlung für Familien mit kleinen Kindern.
