Sesame Street is a classic and I wanted my children to have a chance to get to know some of the golden oldies... unfortunately the quality of the images is terrible, and thus didn't really draw them in. I think the original video tapes should have been remastered prior to releasing them on DVD.

Very poor quality. Some of the DVDs don't even play. This was a gift and I wish I could return it but it was just recently opened and the return period has passed. ***Update---Amazon graciously agreed to refund the money for this so I was able to return it.

We purchased this product to provide additional fun educational options for our child. The collection is well put together covering a little "old school" material while including some of the better creations of the "new school" Sesame Street, and our child genuinely enjoys all the dvds watching them often. We are happy with the product and have no regrets with our purchase. The only negative comment to place in this review is in regards to the shipping. The dvds were sealed collectively in one plastic cover which would have helped to keep the dvds from slipping and sliding during shipment, and this was the only protection they had. No bubble wrap was placed around the dvds, and the plastic shipping envelope used was a simple single layer plastic envelope and not an actual bubble wrap envelope. Consequentially, the collective dvd seal was broken with the dvds free to move during shipment, and three dvds were damaged. The "Wild Words and Outdoor Adventures" Dvd has a 1.5 inch deep cut on the back which almost completely cut through the case. The "Fiesta!" Dvd case is completely broken through over half of the case bottom. The "Celebrates Around the World" Dvd case is completely broken off where the dvd actually attaches inside, and we have to use tape now the keep the dvd from being free to move inside the case, which could scratch it. Amazingly, none of the dvds were scratched or damaged and play well. This is why we have not returned them or requested a refund. Better shipment arrangements for this potentially breakable product should be made in the future.
