This stand is what you would expect for the price. It's cheap and needs to be filled with wither sand or water by the user.It's not bad for what it is, but you can do much better for more money.I gave the sturdiness a 2/5 starts because mine came dented in and would not pop back out even after being filled and I feel the neck for the umbrella is not super sturdy (more on that below).Maneuverability was rated after filling as a 3/5 stars because the plastic neck cannot be used as a handle to move the unit around once full without risking bending or potentially breaking the neck off.I found it easier to move the table out of the way, position the umbrella base where I needed it, and then move the table back into place rather than sliding the base around.

Price is reasonable and installation simple. It is somewhat too light for an 8.5 feet standalone umbrella; it toppled a couple of times in gust of wind. I filled it with sand first, but I found it too light, and added water to the neck. The opening is too small to fill it with sand, and I needed a funnel.My most complain is that it is not solid enough and the umbrella wabbles even in a slight wind.

When I first ordered this, the delivery date was noted as October. Since this was too late to fit my needs, I unsuccessfully tried to cancel the order. However, the item arrived in a timely manner by mid-August and I am happy with it. There was a small dent in the plastic which doesn't affect its functionality.This does the job and the price is great.

Thought it wouldn’t be too bad as long as I fill it up with enough sands but I was wrong. The center piece is just too flimsy to be usable for anything. I filled it up with sands and once i put the patio umbrella on it tilts on one side and no matter how I tried to tighten it it wouldn’t work. This is cheap compared to other ones out there for a reason. Think twice, buddy.
