Q: Does the scale shut down automatically? I am looking to replace another brand that constantly shuts down mid-use. SO annoying.

The scale shuts off automatically after 5 minutes of no use. I've had the same problem with another scale shutting off while I'm using it. Most scales on Amazon shut off of automatically after 2 minutes. This one has not been nearly as much of a nuisance.

Q: What is the warranty?

i don't know. we bought one and it lasted for about 4 years until the second time it got knocked off the counter. second one has been around for about 2 years now.

The scale has 1 gram and 1/8 oz. increments. You can not immerse the scale in water because it is electronic. However, you can wipe everything down with a damp cloth.

Q: What units of measurement does this scale have? Only grams and oz?

You can switch between grams and ounces with a simple press of a button. Ounces are accurate to the first decimal place (13.7 oz, for example), and to 1 gram, no decimals (278 g, for example).
