Good Price by Comparison
I searched high and low for 3/4 inch rods that weren't too expensive per rod. I have natural hair. I use these to stretch my hair after washing. I only use 10 for my entire head. I really like these. My only complaint is that the ends (the white caps) came loose after the first use. I would advise not rolling your hair near the ends snice it might get caught.

Good product...
Arrived on time in perfect condition. So far I really like these flex rods. Ever since going all natural/no heat with my hair I have been looking for alternative ways of styling. This is perfect. Do be prepared to dedicate a decent chunk of time to styling your hair with these if you plan to use zero heat. (No hairdryer) You don't want to take them out while hair is damp or the curls won't hold. I don't like to sleep with these in my hair because the two times I tried it didn't work there was too much frizz. So instead I have to leave them in for 4+ hours for my hair to completely dry. If you are like me and don't want to use heat on your hair you might be able to save some time with a hairdryer that has a cool setting.

Neither "rubber", nor "rods"
From the description I expected 3/4" diameter solid rubber rods, approximately 6-8 inches long. These items are 3/4" in diameter, and they are about 8" long. They are not, however, "rubber". They are some kind of closed-cell plastic foam, with hard plastic disks on the ends. They are also not "rods". They are tubes with a hollow center, and a metal wire connecting the two hard-plastic ends through that center hole.Perhaps this is exactly what people who use these for hair-styling expect, but for my purposes the difference between the description and the actual product was way off, and they did not work for my application. Returned.

These actually work in my very straight hair!
These work surprising well on my super-straight hair. I had given up using a curling iron since my hair doesn’t hold a curl, but it does with these.I get my hair damp the night before and leave them in overnight. In the morning my hair is super curly but settles down throughout the day. (I use them the create beachy waves in my shoulder-length long bob.)A bit uncomfortable to sleep in, but that’s to be expected. To use, follow tutorials for hot rollers and it will look great in the morning.

These work good temporarily, but I have a weird hair type so my hair only stays curly for about 3 hours, then it goes back to straight. My hair is just not used to it and it needs to be trained.

Great quality flexi rods!
Great quality flexi rods! They were super easy to put in my hair and they did not have a strong smell (had this issue with other flexi rods I purchased).

Finally a win!
I spent a little more on these than the generic rods I've tried in my daughter's heavy hair, and it's a win! I have spent $40 for her hair to be curled only to see the curls fall out of her thick hair thirty mins later. I am buying a few more packs of these! The cheaper ones don't work like Lure!

Flexible & soft feel, comfy to wear.
Great packaging & delivery. I haven't tried the Lure Rubber Rods yet but I am looking forward to using them, I like the way it feels and flexible they are.
