Fantastic smallish hot light for close portraits, macro work or other photo and video situations. Hotshoe accessory means it can go on camera or on a tripod or other mount as a secondary source with other hot lights or with strobe. Detailed intensity controls let you fine-tune the amount of light and temperature settings mean you can dial in the degree of warmth or coolness precisely. The LED display provides good ongoing awareness about intensity, color temperature and the battery level; it even changes in real time. As you increase the setting from a low to a high power, for example, the unit re-estimates its remaining runtime. When you change from a high power to a lower power, the light gives you more estimated runtime. Also comes with a great simple plastic diffuser to help manage highlights in your subject. This is a small LED hot light around the size of a mobile phone so it's not going to light up your cover shot for Vogue but for what it can do at its small size it's an excellent product.

This light panel is great for battery life, color range options and brightness adjustment. We just used them last week to take photos at home for passports and the picture quality was spot on! Great job Lume Cube!

As a wedding videographer this little light helped me so much!!! I have been filming wedding films for 4 years now. I absolutely love it! However it comes with many challenges and one being proper lighting. Now during the reception the lighting is typically dim with a mixture of orange and white. Yes the mash of colors drive me insane. Not to mention DJs and their multiple led lights and discoballs. It's compact, it slides right into the hot shoe of any camera. Downside to this is a microphone but I have other ways of working that out. The light is practically the size of my wallet. I love the little LED "screen" or "display" whatever you want to call it. Shows me the battery life, my kelvin levels and brightness. This light is bright! I found myself right around 50% it's not the greatest battery but it's tiny and I found myself lasting for roughly 30m at 50%. The kelvin adjustment was perfect, 5500K is perfect for first dances, maybe not that high but you get my point. It helps my subjects standout from the background as lights may be flashing or very dim. Lastly 2000-4000K was perfect for my sparkler exit. This is a very warm light, it's pitch black out and without a lens thats at least a f1.4 it's not going to turn out very well. I mean you can get by with a f1.8 being that you have some sort of lighting. This light allowed me to match the colors around and make my shot 5x better. So yes, little things could be changed and improved but understand it's small, it's not an expensive light and you just look cool using it. Would definitely recommend to any videographer or photographer!! I hope you found this helpful.

Kind of expensive compared to some, but it's actually my favorite small panel light, and I have several different types. It's smaller, so it's just a little bit less bright, but not much. Simpler to use. Also, the temperature range goes higher than it says. It actually goes up to 7,500 which is nice, not 5,600.

Great low profile light for more closeup work like interviews. Can get very very bright for larger shots but needs more diffusion without post production. I like it on the low setting for indoor closeup shots of people. But the build quality is exceptional. Holds a charge for months and months just left in my camera bag so it's always ready to go. VERY bright on brightest setting but can quickly bleach or burn out shots without proper diffusing.

I used this light, straight out of the box, to light up my macro shot of some Christmas décor and since I am a rookie to photography I was surprised of the quality image I was able to produce without ever having used a light, other than my camera flash or natural light, to light up any of my subject of photography. My pro photographer friends that saw my shots were positively impressed by my results. The light is very bright for it's small size and the diffuser is very nice. The warmth of the light is very nice. In my shot I did not use the warm light because I wanted to create the effect of the cold of the snow - it turned out nice, I think. The light is very easy to use as it has only 1 button and a toggle to adjust the brightness and the color of the light. My pro-photographer friend decided to get this as well over the Aperture light he bought several years back - mainly due to the quality of light and the size and weight.

The item shipped separately but eventually made it safe and sound. This camera light is awesome! Great customer service, the folks at Adorama helped me track the package, and their efforts are appreciated.

Likes: I liked that the unit is easy-to-use, no complex menus to faff around with, and it remembers its settings. I also liked the USB-C charging capability. What's really excellent is that it has two diffusers; a permanently mounted plastic diffuser over the LEDs, and a second slip-on silicone diffuser which sits about 5mm away from the first diffuser. This is really great for subtle lighting and for detail on my macro photos, where a ring light can be hopeless unless it really is high-end and well designed to control direction and glare reduction. I like that the light can be used fairly dimmed which is sufficient for many photos where I want to control glare on shiny product photos for instance. The colour-temperature range is good too. The main unit itself feels reasonably sturdy, and the permanently-attached plastic diffuser should protect the front of the unit somewhat too. Battery life I think is good, especially if it is not operated at max brightness. For a lot of my photos, I have the brightness set to under 20% for instance, and then battery life is around 4 hours. At 10% brightness, the battery life is around 6.5 hours, and I often use that level to provide directed illumination for small product photos. Even at 1% brightness the unit can be used as a camping light, and will operate for 12 hours. Dislikes: Not much to dislike. I wish it was slightly cheaper in a bundle of say two, since one might not always be enough. I also wish the unit came with a case, because I don't want to damage the silicone add-on diffuser.

Lichtleistung ist bemerkenswert trotz der geringen Größe. Für jemanden der mal schnell etwas Licht auf der Szene braucht sehr zu empfehlen (Stichwort: Hochzeiten, wenn man nicht blitzen kann oder mag). Verarbeitung ist gut und das Teil passt in jede Fototasche. Vielleicht etwas teuer. Von Rollei gibt es z.B. ähnliches, aber ich wollte beim Original bleiben. Bisher habe ich den Kauf jedoch nicht bereut.
