The variety of standoffs and spacers in this kit allowed me to custom make fittings for several keyless door locks I installed which came with hardware limiting the thickness of the door it could be installed in. I used this kit to adapt the manufacturers supplied 4MM hardware as needed. Although there is still 90% of the kit still unused (and I do not see any future use for any of it) the kit price was more than fair to pay for the 10% that was used. I would recommend this kit for anyone out there who is looking to install an Ardwolf keyless entry lock (my application) in a door which is thicker than what it is designed for. The two things to be reminded of are these things are small and made of brass. The reason I mention that is because I snapped a standoff inside a factory sleeve that came with the lock and ended up drilling it out using surgical precision.

These are perfect for nema 17 motors. They screw in perfectly. I had just purchased x axis linear rail and on the ender 3 pro the limit switch sits right were the rail is. 4 of these standoffs worked perfectly to space the limit switch where it needed to be.

Pay attention to the sizing description of these screws. I bought one set (must have been M3) not paying complete attention and they did not fit through the holes in my Pi Zero. This set (M2) fit in the Pi well enough and I have been able to use them (the different lengths of spacers) to make a couple of different applications (holders) for my Pi. I wish there were a few more nuts in the case, But I have fund that I can slice the longer spacer with a Xacto knife and make my own perfect sizes of nuts which allow for even more variety in how I use these.

The pieces are very sturdy and is able to handle a bit of rough handling when needed. The most obvious use case for this is standoffs for Pi hats and this works great for when you encounter unique problems trying to make things work. The various sizes were great to choose specific spacing what would work in an enclosure.

Admittedly, I was taking a chance ordering these when the mounting holes on some of my PCB's were about the same diameter as that of the threads on these. Pro tip: if your holes are 3mm, get standoffs with a thread of 2.5mm to be safe - ie, If you're working with a Raspberry Pi or compatible components, these will not fit through.Having said that, the kit itself is a great, less expensive alternative to brass standoffs and every piece I tried threaded cleanly and easily.

Well made, quite suitable. Nice to stock up my parts box as I was running out of motherboard standoffs. Unlike the answers to my question would lead you to believe, the female to female extensions DO form a hollow tube and can be strung just like a bead if desired, or used for similar purposes (I use them to protect wiring that is close to sharp edges). Highly satisfied.

I tend to make my own cases for my raspberry pi or or cases for other things. These come in various sizes and quite a few, I might add. Works perfectly for the projects I have lined up.

Good selection

As solid a product as you'd expect for the material and size. I would have rathered steel/aluminum standoffs so that they matched the colour of the screws and bolts but still happy with the brass.
