Simple to use, great price
Needed to fix the drain pipe on my bathroom sink. Somehow the threadless piece just broke one day and neither Lowe's or home Depot had them in stock but that's fine because Amazon had these delivered the next morning. It only took a couple seconds to put this on and hand tighten. Worked perfectly, no more leak.

Fits
It's pretty basic. It fits so that's all that's important. No leaks after proper installation.

Worked out great.
ABS is hard to find and I am glad someone still sells these fittings. They are way cheaper than the local plumbing supply house, who wants $21 each.

Solved my problem
I was doing some plumbing at our neighborhood clubhouse, and it inexplicably has ABS pipe. I was trying to connect a new sink to PVC. None of the hardware stores had this connector. It arrived quickly and fit perfectly.

Adapter worked perfectly. My local stores no longer stock ABS fittings so I am extremely pleased that I can find these parts at a reasonable price on Amazon. I used this adapter to replace a failing ABS P-trap under a bathroom sink with a new inexpensive 1-1/2" PVC trap kit. Once the adapter is solvent welded to the drainpipe coming out of the wall it is a simply matter to connect a typical sink drain trap kit to the adapter with the included slip flange nut.

Too loose
I tried to use this to connect a 2" drain elbow to a 1.5" slip joint pvc insert and there was a quarter of an inch gap all around the inside of the elbow. What am I supposed to do, use putty? Buy your engineering department a $3 ruler and try again. I went to the big box stores and same thing. Am I missing something?
