As far as I know, these are the only lollipops that contain both xylitol and hydroxyapatite -- for a double whammy of dental protection!So far I think we have tried almost all of the brands with high xylitol content including Dr. John's and Xyoli pops.These are probably the best, although they are expensive. The major downside is the packaging. They are of course beautifully packaged and that's the problem – – too many layers there's a giant Ziploc bag then each one is individually wrapped in a heavy duty mylar pouch once you tear into that, then there is a twisted on a piece of cellophane that is extremely difficult to get off.... If you are in a hurry like say an anxious toddler ha ha – – then It's a big hassle to get at it. Addition to that, the obvious environmental downsides of too much plastic wrapping up your food. I'm sure there is a reason they choose not to use paper but it is definitely a shame. The company needs to look into pairing down the excessive packaging and then perhaps that would help with cost. Otherwise I am a huge fan of the idea of a near therapeutic lollipops for your teeth. Ingredients look great as all and the taste is likewise terrific.

I was really excited to try these out because I love Carifree's other offerings and am familiar with xylitol mints and gums, and it's hard to find high pH candies/mints - but I just could not eat these. They all taste pretty similarly bland (the fruit flavor is barely noticeable) and have a strange caramel-ish syrup-y taste. There is no bad aftertaste or anything, they just...don't taste good and don't really taste like the fruit being described. I think it's probably because they don't contain acidic ingredients to make the flavor more tart, which is a good thing, but they just taste so blah that I have zero desire to finish the bag.As others have mentioned, the amount of packaging is ridiculous.

I’m doing a brief stint of the keto diet for medical reasons and was craving a piece of candy. After reading a lot of reviews, I selected CariFree Lollies. I didn’t want anything with the typical sugar-free aftertaste. Also, I try to avoid artificial ingredients as much as possible. These looked like they fit the bill. They were supposed to take two weeks for delivery but I thought they’d be worth the wait. To my delight, they were delivered five days after I placed my order! They are packaged beautifully.So now for the taste... I tried a raspberry first and wow! They are delicious. Not so overly sweet. No “fake” taste. I ordered my second bag before I finished my first lollie.These are wonderful! Yes, they’re pricier than typical candy but they’re better for your teeth...and for your overall health. I will continue to buy them after I finish my brief stint with keto.One caveat...since these contain maltitol, they can cause lower GI distress for sensitive people. And if more than a couple of these lollies are consumed in a day, there could be some potentially embarrassing results as sugar alcohols are known to cause bloating, gas and sometimes, diarrhea. Just remember...”all things in moderation” and you’ll be fine.

I don't understand what is the fuzz of opening them. I find it very nice how they come wrapped if you have a party, an office or Halloween. At home, even, they look nice in my jar. To unwrap the second inner wrapping, just unwind it, twist the wrapping backwards from how it comes, as easy as that and you have a great lollipop. A lollipop that is sweet, healthy and lasts a long time.

Flavor is great! I’ve contacted the company with questions and they are fast, friendly, and very helpful in response. The inner wrapping can be tough to open, but at least I know it’s well-sealed and safe. Great product overall. Perfect alternative to sugary sweets. I’d love to see bulk packaging someday!

These were given to us by our dentist after braces were put on. They taste good and are kid approved! They are also in pretty packages that are individually wrapped for displays.

I bought this to help my teeth while enjoying a "sweet" treat. The flavors are good but they do have a slight medicinal taste to me. I do enjoy the raspberry one the most as it has the best flavor by far. If they all were like the raspberry one or you could buy just one flavor I'd give it 5 stars.

These are the most flavorful wonderful suckers I’ve ever tasted and they are sugar free!!
