Presidential Dollars Coin Collecting Kit

I bought this fine item. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. It has a slot for each president up to Gerald ford. Gerald Ford will be issues in 2016. After that there are 6 empty slots. It includes a beautiful full color book with information on each president. This is an inexpensive way to collect coins of the president. The information goes up to George W. Bush. Excellent product. There is a copy of the Constitution on one of the pages. The coins are held security in each slot unlike the cheap ones that are made of thin cardboard that coins fall out of. This is the item to buy for collectors. Plus it has a nice magnetic clasp to hold the book closed a easy cheap way for the collector in your life.

I got this book for my 3 & 4 year old to start a collection - it is easy for them to place the coins in & even some extra spots for non-released coins. The book included with all the president info is very nice and detailed. Could be used in early grades for report material. the side of book that opens also has a magnetic strip so it helps to keep the book closed and protected.

We aren't avid or professionals at coin collecting, but we enjoy collecting them with our kids. We bought this kit and were very impressed with it. It has extra holes for future coins not on the mint schedule. It is sturdy and had magnetic closure for the book. It also has a booklet inside with facts about the presidents. I haven't read it yet, so I can't comment on the content of that material. It looks nice though. We are very happy with it and would recommend it.

Great way to save your presidential gold dollars. There is only one slot per president. Serious coin collectors know there should be two, -one for Denver and one for Philadelphia mints. Since the mint mark appears on the rim of the coins versus front or rear face, it doesn't matter that much. By the way, next year is the last year they will be minting them. They are ending with one for Nixon and one for Ford in 2016. You have to be deadto appear on a coin. President Carter is still alive so it stops with Ford. I intend to beg them continue with each new president.

This is a nice book- magnetic catch keeps it closed. Holds coins nicely. Has slots for all deceased Presidents and 6 extra. Nicely illustrated book with a two page spread of info on each and every president up to G.W. Bush. I collect the Presidential dollars for my Grandchildren- and I highly recommend this book- I am very pleased with it. I will give it to each of my grandchildren along with the dollars I have collected so far- they can put them in themselves- and enjoy this book. Then, each year at Christmas I will give them the 4 dollars issued in the past year to add to it- it will give them and myself something to look forward to each year...for many years to come.
