Ridiculous Vegan Protein Bar - Award Winning, Chocolate Caramelicious, 9 Bars, 100% Plant Based & Palm Oil Free, High Protein - Protein Works

I was apprehensive about buying these due to other customers reporting short dates on the product. Mine just arrived and as the picture shows, there is five months BB date. After getting a slight addiction to protein bars and needing them to be vegan, I thought I'd try these as they are a great price at the moment and work out at £1 a bar. They taste very nice. The filling is nice and chewy with bits of crispies in there and it has a nice chocolate coating. They are not as moist as some other bars and there is a slight aftertaste as these contain zero sugar but that has not put me off. They have 15g of protein and are just under 200 calories each. Will definitely by again 🙏🏻

Taste pretty good, a little dry but not too bad at all. I find they taste better if given an hour in the fridge (personal preference). Decent serving of protein, relatively low carb and sugar and no animal products so good all round. Can’t complain at the price compared to the sickly and overpriced grenade type products. Will buy again at this price

The chocolate caramel one is so tasty! I am going to have to be careful with these because it tastes like a chocolate bar. Will definitely be buying other flavours to try out. I also bought this at the same time as another vegan protein bar and this one was by far the best. Definitely recommend to anyone vegan or curious about vegan protein bars.

The taste is just okay, you can taste the caramel but there is not much of it in the bar. The bar itself is pretty hard but the chocolate on the outside tasted alright. The bars do leave a weird after taste which I'm guessing is from the pea protein? Overall, I would not buy again, they were edible but didn't enjoy them

On the plus side: packing is nice. Texture is good. Not too chewy. But if you are expecting any sort of flavour you will be sorely disappointed. Very bland. Will not buy again.

I like the taste of peas. Absolutely. Just not in my protein bars, haha. I'm not a vegan; just bought these when they were cheap. If you are a vegan then you might be used to plant proteins and what not and these might be perfectly okay for you. But I just couldn't get over the distinct vegetable aftertaste. I didn't look forward to eating these, unfortunately. I've tried a high number of different protein bars now and even the worst ones I'd rather eat over these because I just don't want to taste any hint of veggies in my protein bar. So yeah, not for me. But maybe some dedicated vegans can enjoy them. Maybe.

I don't often write reviews about products, however we have been so impressed with these British bars of from 'The Protein Works' as a family, that I felt it only fair to write an informative review. I first bought these bars several months ago to take with me on long running trips as a packable snack to provide energy and as an alternative to a biscuit or chocolate bar, which mostly have a high fat and sugar content. Since then both of my children and my partner regularly eat these bars, preferring them even to their regular chocolate snacks, which is a change that I have welcomed! The taste really is ridiculously good. The bars are taste sweet, have a fudge-like consistency and the chocolate tastes delicious and creamy. There are so many different kinds of protein bars on the market, many of which I have tried and been unimpressed with as they can often taste quite artificial and dry. After searching for a new suitable snack online I came across 'Ridiculous.' The edgy and contemporary packaging caught my eye and sparked my interest enough to read the nutritional information. I was impressed with the low saturated fat content and even more impressed with the very low sugar content - 0.8g per bar! This is almost half the sugar contained in many other leading protein bar brands. After reading however, that 'Ridiculous' bars are made in the UK, completely vegan and palm oil free, which is something that the majority of other protein brands don't seem to be able to brag about, I was ready to give these bars a try. The bars arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Don't waste your time and money on buying other protein bars on the market as these little British power bars really are excellent! The flavour is quite bland - no wow factor. But, you can taste some caramel and peanuts, so it is what it says. It is not too sweet, which is great. The 15g of protein does the job for me. 200 calories per bar sets me up nicely for the gym. Finally, excellent value for money - one of the cheapest 'keto-friendly' bars I've found. Also, note that the ingredients are very similar for the different flavours, so there is unlikely to be much difference in flavour between them.

Amazing quality and tasting vegan bars.. Will be definitely getting these again.. So tasty they are kind of addictive

Por temas de alergias tengo que consumir productos veganos y es genial que haya estas opciones, una pena lo caros que salen pero es lo que hay, están buenísimas y me parece un milagro que no parezcan paja, las estoy usando como complemento porque hago deporte y me cuesta dedicar tiempo a preparar comidas muy proteicas y de momento parece que me cuesta menos mantener el peso. Las seguiré comprando!

Sicuramente non hanno un brutto sapore però mi aspettavo meglio, il sapore del cioccolato o del caramello non si sente completamente. Va bene per chi come me non ha altre alternative!!
