These are expensive socks but they are worth the extra money. I used to buy athletic socks that would be 2 or 3 pairs for $20 and in a few months the heals would be ripping. At my job I'm on my feet for about 9 hours a day and I also bike in them. I have a number of these in different colors that are about two years old and the heals have not ripped and they stay up meaning I never have to pull these up due to the elastic stretching. Great socks.

Very tight and comfortable. Supportive and absorbent..... shipping cost was excessive though!
