I love these gun grips. Exactly what I was looking for. Color exactly like shown in the Amazon picture. I make custom 1911 gun grips, but I also wanted a pair of G10 grips. These were perfect. Quick shipping.

If you have the Wilson Combat style mag well funnel (The type that hooks / anchors onto the grip screw bushing, these grip panels will not work as the panels do not have the required cutout for the mag well funnels hooks. The magwell cut referred to in the add is ONLY to indicate there is no bevel at the bottom edge of the grip. If your magwell funnel attaches to the mainspring housing (Via a screw), these grips should work for you.

Bought this for my RIA. I was unable to get an Ultra FS at a reasonable price which includes the G10 grips and FO sights so figured I'd go ahead and do some upgrades.The grips are good, very aggressive and dig into your hands for better stability. It's not unpleasant just noticeable. They are made out of some kind of ceramic. They are thicker than the stock rubber ones the RIA 1911 comes with.They required some fitting on both sides. On the right side it required filing to allow the safety to seat all the way down which required removal of a fair bit of material. They will still fit without filing but the safety will be raised somewhat. On the left filing was need to clear the safety push pin. They didn't clear at all without the filing but didn't all that much work to fit.5 out of 5. It's not a direct fit for the pistol but given how many different variations on the 1911 platform there are this isn't a detriment.

It provides very positive purchase on a grip without being too much bulky. However, I expected it to be darker gray / black instead of bright gray.

These look and feel great and I want them o love them, but the fit is an issue. There is a noticeable gap on both sides at the bottom and the cutout for the mainspring housing pin has to be enlarged at the rear to fit. A little more attention to detail would change this from a value part to a great part. Please put a disclaimer in your add. These are on a Springfield Champion with a Chen SI magwell.
