Here & Now Limited Edition

Better than the original!

Monopoly Here and Now is a nice twist to the old game. Bought it mainly because our young grandkids (Ages 7 & 5) got hooked on the National Parks edition of this game. Begged to play it every day, so we thought why not try this one out. Again, it gets them familiar with names of areas around the U.S., which is cool. Fun game. Game pieces made us chuckle, too. Nice way to spend an afternoon.

Often the "sequel" to anything is a disappointment, but with this new Monopoly it's a nice surprise. It's truly current in the playing pieces, the properties and the money amounts. It's still a great family game. It's like someone put new canvas on your favorite pair of shoes, but only the outside is changed, the inside is as comfortable as ever. I'd highly reccommend this game. It's become our new family favorite!

We bought this in order to start a new tradition for our 11 year daughter on Family Fun Night. It is neat, updated version. We miss the "kitty" on "FREE PARKING" with the new version. But, the money amounts are more realistic than the original and there are airports, instead of railroads. The Community Chest and Chance haven't changed much, except for money amounts. The utilities are now internet services. Luxury tax is now income tax. Some of the updated playing pieces are a Labradoodle, New Balance tennis shoe, airplane, Starbuck's mug, laptop and cellphone. We find it annoying that you have to separate the money before putting the game up. It won't fit in the box when it is still in the bankers plastic area. Overall, we think this is still a great game, maybe even better than the original~!

We bought several of these new Monopoly games for relatives for Christmas. I was intrigued by the new playing pieces and thought it would give our grandkids a kick to play with a computer piece or a Starbucks cup. I am not sure if the kids liked the new look or not, but the adults did! We especially liked the new properties ( I bought part of Las Vegas and the White House!) and the new rental amounts. It blew my mind to have to pay millions in rent....which finally resulted in losing to my grand son, to whom this was not such a big deal. I would highly recommend this new version of Monopoly to anyone who loves the game. You too can be an inside trader or own Times Square!

This game is a break from the traditional Monopoly game, I like the new spaces and the landmarks from around the Nation. I couldn't help notice a few things that I would have done differently: 1.Make the paper money larger for ease of handling 2.A lazy susan for the deed cards (like in Monopoly Deluxe Edition) 3 The game board be folded in 2 sections instead of 4 (less creases) 4. make the tokens larger (my friend has big fingers had a hard time moving his token) Other than this i have to say that the game was still fun and challenging, and really cool to land on known landmarks instead of the traditional street names. If anything grab this game and leave it wrapped as a collector item (as it was a limited edition!

Love the modern update to this traditional family game!! Updated all of our families board games this Holiday thanks to Covid-19! This one is truly a keeper! From the updated Airports vs Railroads, the modern game pieces, including McDonald’s Fries, to the massive inflation rate of properties....you will enjoy family night with this updated version!

this game has inflated all the prices into millions which makes each and every transaction a nightmare to try and calculate numbers. it's like living in argentina or something. the board design is very very busy so it's hard to see dice when they're rolled. the money is on cheap icky paper. the new deeds are absurd like hello, who would build a house on a baseball field i ask you hello so all in all it is stupid. the tokens are almost okay but HELLO WHO PAID TO GET A MACDONALDS AD in the game one of the new tokens is a set of macdonalds french fries. Read a book you'll have more fun.
