I bought this book to get some inspiration for a lot cabin quilt. It’s got some great basic information on offset log cabin blocks and some really cute patterns for quilts.

There are lots of patterns in this book. I happened to buy a new log cabin ruler, which will help me in making the blocks, but is not really necessary to make the quilts in this book. There’s lots of different ideas on how to put the quilt together, which makes it very versatile. I highly recommend this book to people who are just starting to make log cabin quilts, and for more advanced quilters who want ' some different ideas.

Patterns in this book do not seem too difficult. Haven't made any yet, but I am anxious to try few.

I'm in love with this book. I'm what's called a "confident beginner" and this books is very easy to follow. My mother is a master quilter and loves this book. She can make changes as she sees fit, and I follow the instructions almost exactly. It's easy to figure out how to change the size of a quilt, and the patterns are REALLY easy to alter. My mother doesn't find this book boring at all, and loves making changes here and there. I absolute recommend this for everyone of all quilting skill levels. Log Cabin quilts are some of the easiest and most enjoyable to make.

directions were easy to follow, patterns were fun to do. was a little difficult to figure out there are only 2 basic patterns and you just change the colors as you go from pattern to pattern. would recommend book if you want to do log cabin patterns

Excellent detail and instruction!

Several good ideas and designs for using the curvy ruler. It would be nice if they told you the block size after each round. By making several blocks I figured it out.

Thus book has some nice patterns. Keep in mind before you buy that all the patterns utilize the Curvy Log Cabin Trim Tool. An experienced quilter can certainly utilize the patterns without using that tool, but I would have preferred patterns that do not rely on an additional purchased gadget.

Super!!!! Ho acquistato questo libro perché adoro la tecnica log cabin. Questo libro spiega in maniera chiara e semplice come realizzare delle creazioni con delle striscioline di tessuto che sapientemente dimensionate permettono di realizzare delle figure curve! La realizzazione è semplificata se si utilizza la stecca apposita ma io utilizzo senza problemi una stecca normale con misure in inch anziché centimetri in modo da seguire fedelmente il libro senza dover fare calcoli e proporzioni. Da almeno 12 anni sono appassionata di tecniche patchwork, ho accumulato molte riviste, progetti e libri ma questo, per quanto mi risulta é Il più ben fatto. Lo consiglio per chi vuole realizzare imparaticci, plaid, lenzuola, ecc. con la tecnica log cabin.
