Willow Tree Brother and Sister, by My Side, A Gift to Reflect Friendship Between Siblings, Sculpted Hand-Painted Figure

I gave this as a gift after my MIL lost her brother and it was a beautiful gift, very well made, amazing quality, and she loves it. It is proudly displayed as a good reminder of him and their bond. This is a beautiful piece and the great detail is lovely. I would buy again no hesitation, worth every penny.

I bought two for Christmas gifts for my two brothers. As always, I love Willow Tree figurines and was so happy to find them. They were surprised as these were different gifts from those in years past and loved them!! As a long time fan of Willow Tree, it was nice to finally see them add more variety for their customers when introducing the "Darker skin tine and hair" pieces. This was about the size I expected it to be, but the faces are actually a little darker than I expected them. This was actually a plus for me because judging from only the pictures on amazon, these look to be the same color as the normal skin tone and hair colored ones. There also seems to be a misconception that each piece in hand sculpted. The is something Willow Tree addresses on the side of the box explaining that in fact the MAIN PIECE (original model) is the one that is hand sculpted, then is sent to a factory to be massed produced. I was never expecting each piece to me made by hand so this is not an issue for me. I buy Willow Trees because I support the company and what they stand for. In conclusion, this is a very nice figurine, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. NOTE: I only pictured the other two pieces to show a comparison in skin tones. They are NOT included.

I love Willow Tree figurines as they are beautifully made and convey so much meaning in such a simple way. I bought this one in memory of my brother, and it gives me pleasure whenever I look at it.

Was so happy to receive this in the mail. It was exactly as pictured and what I was looking for. I chose to get this one for my younger sister to let her know how much I appreciate her. My older sister got a different Willow Tree Brother and Sister to give to me back in 2007. It means so much to me.
