Question 2

I got the 1 oz tinted sample which doesn't mention whether it's light or med/dark tint. how can you tell which to order?

Hi ConcertLover,
Our 1 oz sample (sold within our sampler pack) is the light tint, which is also sold individually as a 4 oz tube. Our med/dark tint is sold only as a 4 oz tube and is not available in a 1 oz size. In very general terms, our light tint is matched more to a lighter skin tone (akin to an "average Caucasian" skin tone), while our med/dark is more matched to an "olive" skin tone. Will you be making this in a travel size (3.4oz or smaller)?

We only make our medium tint in the 4 oz for now. We do make our lighter tint in 1oz tubes, which we include in our sampler pack on Amazon, and we can also sell them directly through our internal stock. Since it’s not water resistant, does it need to be reapplied if one is perspiring even if it hasn’t been on skin for 2 hours?

Hi Angela,
Yes, in high sweat or high activity conditions, especially when swimming or surfing. Our non-water resistant sunscreens should be reapplied about every hour or 1.5 hours, to be safe. We designed these as "everyday" and/or "facial" sunscreens primarily, but they can be used when active in the sun as long as reapplication is frequent. A better choice for high sweat activity in the sun is our Sport formulations, in either 3.7 oz pushup sticks or 2oz field tins. This formulation is extremely water/sweat resistant, far exceeding the FDA's max 80-minute water resistant rating, meeting their resistance standards for well over 5 HOURS.
