Kid, Dog, Heavy Traffic, Cleaning APPROVED!
We have 5 children, 4 indoor labradors, and I LOVE rugs and do my best to keep them very clean. We LOVE this adhesive roll! It's the only kind I have found to work and really keep my mats and rugs in place. We place it under entry rugs, living room rugs, and even the non-slip kitchen anti-fatigue mats that are not supposed to slip, but do as soon as water gets under them. It's easy to slowly lift up the rug (if needed) clean out underneath it, and then place it back. The adhesive WILL collect dust and dirt (as all adhesives would) if you have it showing out from underneath your rug, so I always place mine about 1" in from the corners. It's also not hard to gently clean the dirt/dust from it with a slightly wet microfiber cloth and allow it to dry before placing the rug back on top. I have back and hip injuries, and having rugs slip around the house is dangerous for me. We always have a roll of this around, to secure anything down to keep the floors anti-slip and safe.A tip for installing it - we do a full perimeter of the whole rug with the tape, about 1" in from the sides/corners. I also overlap the tape in the corners to allow it to have extra adhesion and thickness to keep it in place. After sticking your rug/mat to the floor, place heavy objects on top of the rug in the area where you put the tape down. This will allow it time to adhere properly and not move around for a while. I usually do this for at least half a day, and then use it like I normally would after that. I'll update my review with photos when we do our next rug. We LOVE this brand and won't use anything else, I highly recommend it!

Great tape.
I bought a runner for our hallway that slipped all over the place. This tape was exactly what I needed! The white side goes down on the floor (it's sticky)... and then you tear the blue plastic off the top side and set the rug down. The BLUE is just the temporary covering on that side of the tape - it goes in the trash.I set the rug down on the tape and stood for a couple minutes on the edges to press the rug to the tape. It hasn't moved since and my 3 dogs love to run down the hallway.THE ONE CON (my reason for giving this tape 4 stars):The blue part is very hard to peel off. Took me several minutes on each piece just to get the plastic to separate from the tape so I could peel it back. If you peel back a small corner of the blue BEFORE you press the strip to the floor, you will save yourself a lot of frustration.

Durablity
Would love thos product of it lasted longer than 2 months. I bought it to place under a runner rug in my entry way. I keeps it in place until it gets dirty. After a while it picks up so much stuff it doesn't stick to anything. I have had to place the tape 3 times with the 2 rolls I bought. Wish it was a more lasting solution.

Good for indoor use only
I tried using in both indoors and outdoors and it works well with indoors. Can't withstand heavy winds from outdoors but works well on my hardwood floors

Great for households with pets
I love this product. I have 4 hyper dogs that are always moving my rugs. This keeps it in place super well.

Easy to use
Super easy to use and apply. I gave it a 4/5 because the Instructions say to apply to the floor but when the rug was lifted for washing, the tape went with the rug.

Hold rugs firmly, even in high traffic areas
The only reason I didn't use a full 5 stars is that I would not trust this stuff on my wood floors. I do not have anything to back that up with, but they stick really well to my tile and I just would be scared to ruin my wood!
