90% waterproof
At the opening at the bottom the paper still gets wet and rain comes through the holes at the bottom

Nice
Looks and feels really good. I think if the shoulder strap was on the same side as the clap it would work better. Good overall

Necessary expense for work
Folk going out on site needed to be able to record items in any weathers. These clipboards have been used twice so far and have been very useful keeping their notepads dry and allowing them to have a pen attached so they never lose it, not funny when a long way up in a cherry picker!

Good but...
Bitter sweet.Good - does what it's supposed to, protects papers from getting wet in rain.Bad - Crooked clip and papers fall out; strap too short to hook over neck and comfortably write; the backboard insert made of carton and broke in half after a week of use.All in all flymsy build but couldn't find anything else to do the job.

Does the job
Handy for keeping sheets dry and to prevent them from being blown about. Whether it would protect paper from more than light rain remains to be seen. In reality, it's easy to just keep the pen inside with the paper rather than use the stick-on pen keeper on the outside. The strap is too short to be of any practical use.
