Used this on my gym md rushed outdoor shoes to waterproof them before my trip to Austria in February. Worked very well and wasn’t greasy.

Scotchgard has been a go to for many years for our family. It has always been easy to use, effective for shielding just about everything that is fabric in our household that needed some sort of water resistance however I do question if something has changed. I do not feel that lately it has worked as well. It could be that I did not use enough but it just didn't seem the same as in the past. This large can lasts a long time and I have not had to purchase for a while. I will try to apply more the next time and see if it works better.

I have used this product my whole life. On outside fabrics, sneakers, shoes, fabric totes, rain coats, a million uses. My favorite use is on the interior soles (either leather, suede or fabric) of new shoes and sandals so they don't get discolored from bare feet - I hate sandals where you can see the dirty toe marks on the soles. This prevents that. Excellent product, spray outside because of the strong smell.

Scotch guard fabric water shield does a great job protecting my upholstered chairs and couch from my young children and animals. It prevents the liquid of spills from soaking in right away allowing me to clean it up before it soaks in and stain. It does NOT prevent stains if you don’t clean up spills right away! Scotch guard allows me to have nice furniture with young children. I also like using scotch guard on my shoes to prevent them from getting destroyed by the elements outside!

I’ve used Scotchgard for years to protect fabrics and it works really well. I bought it this time for a purchase of a kitchen rug. It’s one of those newer designs that lies really flat and is soft. After I sprayed Scotchgard on it, water just beads up. Even a small bit of food dropped on the rug is super easy to wipe up. It keeps the food etc from staining.

My male dog does not always pee where he should. When I’m babysitting my grandchildren at their home, I put my dog in a belly band to avoid pee accidents in their house. The belly bands that I use are washable and reusable, but after a while, they started leaking, and not keeping dry on the outside. I decided to try Scotchgard on them, and I’m glad I did! Now, after washing the diapers/belly bands and letting them air dry, I take them outside and spray the outside cover just in the absorbent pad area of the diapers. I let them dry for a bit, and spray them again, then let them dry again. Have not had any leaks since.

Just covered my 3 seater chaise lounge, seems to work well! Would probably buy two next time for extra coverage. Strong smell initially but wears off quickly.
