This is a really good set for raising sourdough loaves. The banneton has improved my bread, giving it a great crust and regulating the humidity of the loaves. It needs three uses to get to peak performance, but since then the dough has turned out well without sticking, and with a lovely spiral pattern on it from the basket. The lame is very effective and comes with plenty of spare blades. The banneton just needs the excess flour brushed out of it each time and allowed to dry before storing. I have been very pleased with this purchase.

I have only used this item twice but so far I am very happy with my purchase.

Note - the basket is not entirely as advertised. It says in the details a height of 9.25com which it is not - height is closer to 8cm. If you are looking for a deeper basket as I was originally watch out for this. However, I have kept it anyway and all looks good otherwise, look forward to using it.

Fast delivery from Amazon, proofing basket set is complete and as described so I am really happy. I have just tried it and managed to create some nice bread, and the dough did not stick, if you put enough flour. Good quality overall and I must admit I went for this set because the bread lame looked safer to use. I had another model of bread lame before and it was fiddly and poor quality. This one is much better. Also there is a little and simple instruction card handy to keep with the basket. I would buy this product again if i need another one.

All items were as described and worked perfectly. Most notably the bread lame is way better than those rinky-dink plastic doodas most kits like this include, simple to use, adjust and swap blades. Protective box comes handy too, just remember to let the lame dry properly after cleaing, bafor you close the lid to avoid rust.

The basket was definitely smelling like piss

This is great for making a lockdown sourdough. The basket easily takes 500g of dough. Gives the pretty spiral pattern. Basket feels sturdy. I have used it several times without any problems. Cloth top is optional. Comes with a reasonable dough scraper and a good lame (cutter).

Really pleased with this purchase, exactly what I was looking for. My current basket was from Lakeland and was too small, this size is much better. The lame is great quality, better than expected and although more expensive than some of the others available worth the money. My sour dough bread making is going to go to the next level with this set.
