Perfect!
We had our old Aroma rice cooker for decades. Same size and design but with a non-stick interior. The non-stick was nice but never fully resolved or reduced the amount of rice that sticks on the bottom. But not difficult to remove. Just soaked in warm water for a bit and it was easy to remove. The rice cooker was reliable all those years. Passed it down to a friend and bought this one with the stainless steel interior. Love the clean look of the stainless steel pot. Rice cooks perfectly as expected. Rice still sticks at bottom, but easy to resolve. You'd have the same problem if you cooked it in a standard pot on the stove top as my mother use to when I grew up.

great little stainless steel rice cooker
I love this little rice cooker. so easy. even though it is stainless steel, I still use a rubber spatula/spoon to remove the rice.. my last rice cooker was "non-stick", and I could see scratches, specks coming off the non-stick coating. No where for this to go, except in the rice you are cooking. so I ditched that and got this. Love it.As far as stickiness, I use the iSi Slim Silicone Spatula and swirl it around the edges of the pan to lift the rice away from the sides, then a plastic spoon to scoop the remainder out. and then I just soak it for a bit in COLD water (for starches). and it cleans easy.

Buy this. Seriously.
We've had several of the standard pots with the non-stick liners. The liners only last a year or so, even with careful handling, they are just too light/thin.The SS pot in this is -very- substantial. As long as you just give it a bit of a soak before scrubbing it clean after use, it's no issue. We are both very happy with this purchase. Rice comes out perfectly, and we look forward to NOT having to buy another anytime soon!Highly recommended.

Stainless replacement for my old rice cooker.
I had no idea how bad non stick cooking coatings were. Even for the environment. So this is my replacement for now.A few notes. You must add oil or it will boil over. You also need to stir it occasionally. It's not as convenient as my old rice cooker however if you do those two things you will get good tasting rice. I do like how the bowl pops out and is easy to clean with a brush and an sos pad.

Cooks Fast, Cleans Fast
I'm so glad I bought this little rice maker. We used to use a much larger rice cooker which was overkill. This thing can cook enough rice for a few days of leftovers and that's plenty for us. AND it cooks that rice SO fast. I don't know how it does it but it seriously cooks rice noticeably faster than our older/larger rice maker. And I really love that the cookpot is just plain stainless steel. It cleans super easy and I don't have to worry about forever plastics from teflon. Oh and it automatically switches to "warmer" mode when it's done cooking which is nifty.

Great little cooker
I use it if I want rice faster than my Cuckoo rice cooker. For my short grain mixed rice, it requires more water than the lines indicated, but once I got the amounts right, the rice comes out good enough. I also like that is stainless steel so it's better for you and easy to clean.

Very Small but has a nice Stainless Steel Interior
This is a nice rice cooker if a compact size is important for a small kitchen. I was a bit surprised how small it actually is when I pulled it out of the box. I sort of wish I had purchased a larger size which would have been better for the occasional times I serve more than 3 people. Also, I like having leftover rice for making fried rice. This machine doesn't have quite enough capacity for that. I love the stainless steel liner. It's feels safer than a non-stick coating which is potentially toxic. Some rice does stick on the stainless steel surface, but it's not much of an issue. The unit heats well, although it seems slightly slower than larger units when cooking the same quantity of rice.

stainless steel pot
Finally found a rice cooker with stainless steel pot but too small. So I bought a bigger one and will give this to my daughter. The cooking capability and functionality is at par.i gave it a 4 star coz its too small for our use and not sure if this will last. But so far I have no complaints. It's a great buy
