It's not often I leave reviews...
As my title suggests, I rarely leave reviews for items but this one time I feel I must.I bought this router based on a recommended wifi router list I found online, as it suggested this was a good budget option. It was also on offer at the time, making it an attractive proposition. I was in the market for a router as I had recent changed providers to Virgin Media, and quite frankly their Hub 3.0 is useless. It drops out multiple times during the day, and the signal barely reaches from one side of my (small) house to the other. When the router arrived, I was skeptical as it recommends you download an app to set it up and I was like "here we go, trying to steal my data". However, the app is highly rated on the app store, it works great and was super easy to set up, and as far as I have dug into the terms and conditions, they're not selling my data on the dark web.Set up literally took me 10 minutes, and 5 of those was finding a longer cable.I now have Wifi that isn't dropping out every 30mins, and my PS5 (which is as far away from the router as I can get indoors) is registering the same speeds as when I stand next to the router with my phone compared to Virgin's Hub which dropped over 100mbps in the same locations. The app also allows you to easily add nodes, so expanding the network over several floors or in an old building with solid walls should be straightforward.A solid recommendation *thumbs up*

Good performing router
I had opted for this Linksys MR7350 to future proof my setup, after a lot of research and two wrong purchases ( both returned ) I have got it right with this router. I have been using VM Hub3 with mixed results, I only had a drop-in wifi signal in the kitchen and a back bedroom upstairs, so not too bad.I ordered this router on its own to set up and see how many nodes I might have to purchase after, well the answer is I do not need any, I am getting over 200 Mbps in every room in a three-bedroom house, obviously pleased with that. The setup using the app was not as easy for me as I would have liked, but that was me getting frustrated and rushing. I put the Hub3 into Modem mode, but the router could not connect to the internet, so I changed the hub3 back to router mode, unticked both wifi settings to make sure there were no conflicts, later on, saved the settings, and turned it back to Modem mode, reset the Linksys back to factory setting and started again and that did the trick set up the first time of asking.I am very pleased with this router, wifi 6 for the future, at a decent price.I would recommend you do as I did, do not order any nodes until you see how this performs on its own, it could potentially save you a lot of money.Quick update, I prioritised Shield TV, my mobile and a tablet, and I immediately noticed a drop in WiFi speed, so unprioritised them and my Mbps went back to over 200 again so will not be bothering prioritising anything again, just my observation, does not mean that it will have a negative impact on your setup.

Almost wasn't a believer
I've been using the router for a day now. Within the first few hours of plugging it in I was gutted. It didn't perform nearly as well as my old Linksys and it seemed to want to automatically handle everything which, for my scenario, it did poorly resulting in appalling speeds! So, I got int touch with customer support and they showed me 'Complete Access' (CA) mode. This was how I was used to seeing my old router and once in this I was able to separate my 2.4GHz network from my 5GHz network and specify what channels I wanted to broadcast on. I've now got all my devices connected reliably - no drops so far.On WiFi 5 devices the speeds are not quite as impressive as my last router but on WiFi 6 devices I'm getting at least as good or better. Considering the router only has two antennas I now get Wi-Fi in the garden, which I didn't with the old router (that had 4 antennas).Something to watch out for with the one I was sent is that it was technically already out of warranty. I spoke to Linksys, provided my receipt and they have validated 2 years of warranty for me.In Summary, once I'd worked out the initial kinks, I've found this to be a very well priced, far reaching, reliable router with decent speeds and a lot of future potential (ability to add additional nodes). I would recommend this product.

Virgin Fibre Game Changer
Update: Please be aware this ONLY works with Alexa in the United States. The rest of my original review below still holds true though.... As you can see from my photo the Linksys app itself is very easy to use to pause a connection; you just can’t say “Alexa, pause WiFi for Janes iPad” in the UK.Original Review A Virgin Fibre Hub3, now lying flat on its side in a corner on the carpet. Happily basking in its retirement as a modem. The Linksys MR7350 now sitting gracefully atop said Hub3, shining in WiFi6 Mesh glory! So we’ve had the Fibre M350 package from VM for a while now and broadband speeds were up and down and WiFi connections sketchy and terrible beyond the adjacent rooms. A real bug but never enough to quite do anything about it until the boys grew up enough to have their own tablets and xboxes. And Firesticks. None of which would reliably connect from their rooms. While searching for a solution I am full glad that I found this Linksys router.Step 1: log in to your Hub3 and set it to Modem Only mode.Step 2: connect the Linksys MR7350 to the now modem using the included cable (and correct port).Step 3: download the Linksys app on your phone and go through the easiest WiFi setup ever.Step 4: connect all your devices to your beautiful new WiFi.The router now consistently reports the full 380Mbps from the VM M350 plan which is just over average AND all 14 WiFi connected devices report SpeedTest results of 80-100Mbps throughout the house.Amazing! All the instructions from above you can find on Google. It’s the easiest setup I’ve ever gone through. Obviously all 14 devices aren’t going to get the full 80-100Mbps as the overall fibre connection is 380Mbps but it means it’s available for amazing 4K streaming on all 14 devices, if they could stream 4K..... roll on 8K then!!!!

worse than isp modem
way slower than you think, i have gigabit ethernet and get 160 down on Linksys (on wifi).36-40 up (incl. isp modem) but is normal on a copper line.On my isp modem i get between 750 and 910 down (on Wi-Fi (depend when test taken))Also on cable is it way slower, steam needs up to 3 min to openand between 30 sec and 50 sec to load page.On my isp modem almost instant. the software is as primitive as possible, barely decent options.I do not recommend this item if you want to improve Wi-Fi in your home, OR AT ALL.These results are unacceptable.-Pics show Linksys router versus my isp modem couple minutes apart (on Wi-Fi).
