I really like the balm. The scent is nice, I just wish it lasted longer. It is nice clean smell, which my wife and I really like. It keeps my beard nice and soft. The jars awhile even with a longer beard. Would recommend.

I have tried almost every beard product from almost every seller on Amazon during the last 6 years and I am so glad I found these guys. Bad Ass Beard is the beard products I have ever used. Period. I have what could be considered a large beard (5-6 inches) depending on being trimmed or if I’m in a caveman phase. This is the only balm I have ever used that actually tames by beard but keeps it soft and DOES NOT LEAVE MY BEARD GREASY! I can’t tell you what that means to me. The last thing I want is my beard to like it is dripping in cooking oil. The Patriot smell is awesome and just smells like freedom and baby bald eagles. I use everything from this company now. The beard shampoo, the body wash and the beard oils they make are just first class. I have tried Patriot, El Barista and the Mountain man scents and they are all just awesome. Give this company a try, you won’t be disappointed at all and you just might find that you can stop searching for the perfect beard company to take care of your man mane like I have.

First time I'm purchasing any kind of beard product. Wanted something to control my beard hairs and make it look nicer and smoother. With so many choices and different opinions/tastes it's hard to know what to pick, so I hope this helps others decide.As far as holding power goes, there's not much (may try something stronger, like a wax next time), but it does make everything a bit smoother, and look nicer (but I still have plenty of hairs pointing in odd directions).My greatest fear was that the scent would be annoying (I'm very sensitive to smells), or that it would make my face feel greasy all day.I picked the 'Outlaw' scent based on the description, and it smells great to me (and the wife also likes it, phew!). It's subtle enough that I don't notice it during the day. No greasiness as long as you don't apply too much of it, and remember this is to apply to your beard not your skin.

I have been purchasing Bad Ass Beard Balm for three years now and I really love it, so I was really excited to see they are selling on Amazon now. I have even gotten some friends using them over what they had used before. I started using the Secret Agent when my wife had a baby because she complained that I was making the baby smell like my beard when I would hold her. Now that she is older I have been able to try a few other scents and have really liked all that I have tried, but I currently us the Royal Knight because the lavender and vanilla scent is something that my wife enjoys. The scent is not too strong, so you won't keep smelling your beard all day.The guitar pic is a really brilliant idea. It is very useful for getting the right amount of balm. Not sure how much more I can say about it, I just really love this product.

I'm in the process of adding bulk to my beard , it had been looking mighty untamed til now , wow ! This balm is a hitter ! And the scent ! Omg ! It is Divine ! my skin & my senses are super sensitive , so if a product has irritants in the ingredients I will know immediately, this puts them all at ease . I love the scent. Only lasts a few minutes.I love the moisturizer. Lasts all day.Cost? At double the price of my last balm is it worth it? USA vet product. I'll gladly pay a little extra for that. It was overall a better product than my last balm. Is it worth double the price? This is were I'm torn, but in the end yes. My other balm was a bit more greasy at first application, so I wouldn't use it daily. This stuff goes on great and I used it every day. I only gave 4/5 since the scent longevity was a little disappointing. But will buy this again.

Yes this delivers! We have used this product for 3-4 years now and the quality is always high. Usually buy from the States, but found a seller on Amazon with prices being in line with US. Free delivery over a certain amount spent, so always good! You also get a little guitar pick and the balm is encased in a velvet branded bag - a little class in merchandising! Good for short to medium beard length - moisturises the skin so that there is no rash under the growth. If you want to sculpt your beard, go for the wax product.

This company was started by ex-US Veterans and they have a quality product. The names for their balms, oils and waxes are engaging! Have used this product 3-4 years now and they have always been of an excellent quality. Service is great - they now have a seller in Aust through Amazon who has great communication skills, which we have benefited from. The scents in all these products are authentic, they are subtle and last a good while. The balm and oil moisturise the skin under the beard for those who are prone to dry skin or rash - worked on my skin which is sensitive to harsh products. Recommended!
