Ukulele and Guitalele - The ToneWay Music Method: An Easier Way to Play Music

This was not a bad purchase, but I was a bit disappointed. It is basically en explanation of the Nashville numbers system. I was expecting something more than that.

Have not had the time to go through the whole book, I'm actually still in the beginning, but it is turning the light on for a few things I did not "get" before. They are teaching a whole new way to go about learning an instrument, and looking at the different keys to play in, they don't teach in specific keys but in the tones that go together and how to use that for any key you want. They focus on playing with other people, hearing the music, and having fun. Pretty interesting and I think it will open up a whole new world for me in learning.

Love the Toneway method of playing but this book was not what I expected....there are numerous versions of the Toneway method and I will def. order; suggest giving a little more detail to the product descriptions.

This is a very creative and thoughtful way to present music theory. Easy to understand and internalize, with in depth examples for every section. If you are a beginner or seasoned player you can still find lots of useful material here that will serve you well as you move forward. Also a great work book for teachers who want a curriculum for students.Highly recommended! -Kilin Reece

If you are a teacher looking to teach this instrument do not buy this book. It is incredibly wordy with no discernible pattern.No it could very well be because I am a more traditional teacher but I’m looking for this book and I have no idea what I’m looking at. It honestly just looks like a bunch of numbers and words.

This is a great introduction to my instrument. The instructions are clear and easy to understand.

Delivered on time and as described.I wish I had found this book earlier in my quest to understand a little more about how music fits together it’s been several years of collecting together information to understand how chords are made up and how lyrics and musical rhythm gels together, when this book would have saved me a lot of wasted time

I found this very difficult to understand - chords are listed as '1, 4, 5' etc and you have to search out what those numbers actually mean on another page! Its supposed to be 'an easier way' to learn music but it seems you have to learn some non-standard music 'language' before anything becomes easy! Actual chord diagrams for Guitalele - which is why I bought it - are limited. I wish I hadn't bought this!

Sehr gutes Buch um Guitalele spielen zu lernen wenn man vorher kein ähnliches Instrument gespielt hat. Ich schätze das es auch sehr gut funktioniert wenn jemand vorher überhaupt kein Instrument gespielt hat.
