Worth its weight in gold
My pontoon was under a pine tree all summer. The one side of it especially was just peppered with pine sap droppings. I was heart sick I can tell you. I couldn't sit anywhere without being on sap. This stuff just took it right off. It didn't harm the colored metal on the sides, the plastic on the console or harm the seats and captain chair. I used it straight from the bottle on a piece of old t-shirt on my finger. I would put some on my finger and gently rub the spots. Some were VERY thick, they took a few more applications, but this stuff is wonderful! I had a bucket of warm water and another cloth to wipe the area right after getting the sap off. Sometimes if it was really thick on the vinyl I would wipe between applications. The captains chair looks wet in the second picture because I had just wiped it down. There was some on a deep blue vinyl also and didn't take the color off. Now remember, I was GENTLE in applying it and rubbing to get it off. This stuff starts to soften the sap right away! In fact, I am going to order another bottle in case I need it in the future and it is no longer available!

Dark magic!?
The media could not be loaded. Do I care if I get sap on my car? -Not in the slightest. However, my wive refuses to be seen in my car from embarrassment in the amount of sap that has accumulated thereon. Rightfully so as after a few drops it begins to look like bird droppings. This sap had been caked on for around a year so I knew it would be difficult to remove.I initially tried Stoner Car Care Tar & Sap Remover as well as Goo Gone automotive based on good reviews and being cheaply priced. However, neither did much and I lamented that I had waited too long before taking action. I had seen Luster Glaze Pine Resin Remover pop up but was initially turned off by the higher price compared to the other options available. I also wasn’t sure if my sap came a pine tree. I ordered it not expecting much difference from the other sap removers I had tried-boy, was I wrong. The directions on the bottle said to put some drops on the scrub pad and some drops on the sap, wait for a few seconds, then start rubbing to remove the sap. Really? That’s it?Check out my video doing exactly as instructed. This stuff is magic. It did what the others could not do. It made all the sap disappear from my car and it made my wife happy. I also received 2 scrub pads with it.Is it expensive? Yes.Was it worth it? It was for me.

Halleluiah! It works!
Because of various crises, I had no time to cover my van, and all summer long it was parked under a pine tree. Pine sap caked and baked all over it. Although I had only purchased it in the spring, it certainly didn’t look new. Finally, I had a chance to try various antidotes that I found on the internet. None worked. I called some local detailers and even the dealership. The detailers said “it’s hopeless”. The dealership gave me several more solutions that didn’t work either.Still browsing the internet, I came upon Luster Glaze, Pine Resin Remover. It was expensive, but got good reviews, so I decided I would invest in the product. It came the other day and directions seemed fairly straightforward. Apply liquid to the micro fiber sponge they had included, let it sit a few seconds, wipe with damp terry cloth. Do not apply in the sun.Well, I was nervous and hesitant to try it. It was my last resort. But today was a cool, autumn day here in Western North Carolina, so I decided to hold my breath and just do it.I have to say that the hardest part of the whole process was getting the interior cap out of the bottle. Finally, I had to get a pair of vice grips to remove it. My fingers were not strong enough.Ok, here I go. I decided to try the roof first and if there was a problem, at least it wouldn’t be as visible. Opening the side van door, I stand inside. Then I poured a dab on the sponge, crossed my fingers and applied it. Just a few seconds. Used my fingernail and gently pushed at the sap….happy day! It came off! Excited, I used the procedure on several more spots, then wiped them and let them dry and went for a walk. When I got back, I climbed back up again to look. Sap gone, but there was a small residue of …maybe clear coat? I don’t know, but the sap was gone. So, here are a few hints. I am very excited.First, don’t let the sap sit on your car! But if you do, buy this product!Get the red cap out…(but save it to replace in the bottle)Pour a little liquid on sponge, and wipe over the sap. Try not to wipe too big an area…just the sap. Wait a few seconds, gently use your fingernail to loosen it, wipe with damp terry cloth. Shout Halleluiah!I was going to do more spots but wanted to rush in and write this review. Also, I wanted to get a small bucket of water so that I could rinse my damp cloth, and I will get a dry cloth, too, and a small plastic scraper that I could use instead of my fingernail.Once the project is done, I will apply polish to the areas, and I really believe the Van will shine and look like new! Thank you… Luster Glaze!

This worth EVERY penny!
This product is a miracle! I moved from VA to FL almost 5 months ago and of course I didn't took care of my car properly. I checked this product but was kind of reluctant on buying it because of the price but ultimately I did and I do not regret it at all! It was so easy to remove all the sap of my car just by following the instructions and I really had plenty of spots. Here in FL I park every day in an open parking lot so I thought that this was a lost cause because of the sun frying the sap in my car but nope.. this is good stuff! Buy it! You will not regret it!

Not woth it.
So yes this product does remove pine resin from your vehicle. But it leaves cloudy spots on your paint that despite washing my car twice will not come out. It is a bit like chopping your arm off to relieve an itchy mosquito bite.
