Works Wonders!
I have an 8yr old Blue Heeler who has problems with stiff joints at the end of the day especially when she plays hard and runs a lot. As long as I give her one of these DVM Soft Chews, she is like a puppy again. I know she feels much better and isn't stiff at the end of the day which is the best part! A bonus is that she loves the flavor. Our vet recommended these and they really do work. I HIGHLY Recommend for your older active pup!

Great Product-But word of Caution
A word of caution!I had first purchased this product from my veterinarian and then purchased it from another on line dealer. When the second product arrived it had a strong smoky bacon smell. The chews were also shaped slightly different than the original ones from the vet. (Packaging was almost identical-only the pail was slightly different) I contacted Teva Medical, the manufacturer of the product and they replaced the product and asked me to send them the chews. I received a letter from them stating that the second chews were "inconsistent" with their product and that they had been forwarded on to another area for review"....I understand this to mean they were fakes. I then contacted the other online dealer and they removed them from their site and refunded my money. I have read reviews on other sites about the smoky smell so be aware. The product I received from this dealer, VetInternetCo is the REAL thing. It is amazing what it has done for my senior gold retriever. He quit limping and also loves the taste. Also makes a wonderful pill pocket if you need to administer other medication.

BAD QUALITY!
We've ordered these chews from amazon for a couple of years now, and have had no problems. These chews help our dog a great deal. They are supposed to be very moist, dark in color, and have a distinctive smell. I ordered the 240 count last week and they came nearly white and crumbling. GROSS. I chalked it up to a bad batch, sent them back, and ordered two of the smaller count boxes in hopes that they were normal. Nope. They look like they've been sitting opened on some shelf for years, and smell completely different. Although this vendor has been fine in the past, I can no longer waste my time with shipping subpar product back and forth. I suggest finding another retailer if you need this product. **** Edit: We ordered this product elsewhere and had the same exact problem. My vet said this product line (G3 AND G4) is discontinued and to use "Dasuquin" instead.

LOVE my Synovi G3 & so do my pups!
I have used Synovi G3 for many years on my elderly Maltese. If she doesn't have this daily, within days she begins to walk with a stiff neck. I've only forgotten to use it once, and when I realized just how much this product helped my dog, I NEVER allow myself to be out of stock. I've recently began giving the product to my 10 year old teacup poodle and she loves the taste. She doesn't have any sort of arthritis, but I figured she's getting up there in age, so might as well prevent any sort of hip/joint discomfort she may get from also getting old. This is one item I wouldn't live without if I had a senior pup.

Excellent price... jury still out on the effectiveness
My vet recommended this product for my 10 year old Cocker Spaniel. My dog has been taking it for about 2 months now. He seems to like the taste, but I'm not sure if the supplements are actually doing much for my dog. He is back to normal (from his limping) but he was also on a number of other prescriptions from the vet so it's hard to say what is the cause for this recovery. The 4 stars I'm giving this are for Amazon's price for this item. In the past I've learned that things that my vet recommends are often much cheaper online than at his office, so when he recommended this product (at $50) I decided to check online first. I'm glad I did, because Amazon's price was almost half that. I later told my vet that he's on the product and told him that his price was much higher than Amazon, I then told him the price and he couldn't believe it. He claimed he pays more than that for them and then told his assistant. Not sure if they didn't believe me, but I didn't care. In the future I always decline my vets recommendations until I can price the products on Amazon (and it's affiliates) first. I also let me vet know I do this so he knows he's losing my business for his prices, hopefully that makes him more competitive.

These are the best solution for older dogs with joint problems
These are the best solution for older dogs with joint problems. My dog used to worry at his front wrists, but after a few days on these stopped.

My Dog is Happy and I Am Happy!
My vet recommended this product for my beloved dog. He had slowed up somewhat with age with joint discomfort. After a few weeks on the Bayer Animal Health DVM Synovi G3 Soft Chews, our sweet boy is moving easier and he loves the flavor!

A notable improvement in mobility for my 13 yr old pup
I bought the DVM Synovi G3 Soft Chews in August 2014 to improve the mobility of my 13 year old American Eskimo. She has developed moderate arthritis, and after using Joint Max for over a year, it was not providing the help she needs.Product:No problems with the chews being hard (as some other reviewers have noted), or with my pup taking them. They were moderately soft.Use:My Eskie likes these chews as a daily treat, and eventually expected one in in the AM. While she weighs 27 pounds, and per the instructions, should be taking 1/2 chew per day, my vet recommended that she take a whole chew because of the level of her arthritis. She was born with a sensitive digestive system, and spits up periodically if given many of the common dog foods and treats; she has never spit up one of these chews.Observations/Comments:I noticed a difference in my pup's mobility after about 7 - 8 days. Instead of slowly lowering herself and then flopping down hard when she wanted to lay down, it became more of a slower, more normal action. In addition, I noticed an improvement in the stiffness of her rear legs, and a slow, gradual improvement in her overall mobility over a 2 - 3 week period to a point where her activity had improved considerably, and she continued to do well until a recent back injury set her back mobility-wise.Conclusion:The DVM Synovi G3 Soft Chews have been a notable improvement for my Eskie over the Joint Max. As a result, I purchased the larger 240 chew container of these chews when the original container was finished. NOTE: I noted that the chews in the new 240 chew container of the DVM Synovi G3 Soft Chews were a bit harder than the original 120 chew container. No problem - my pup takes them without hesitation.

Highly recommended for dogs with stiff joints and arthritis
This was recommended to me by a friend to help alleviate some pain for my 11 year old dog with arthritis. I've been giving these to her for a little over a year now and it works great. She isn't nearly as stiff getting up and moving around as she has been. When the weather gets colder and her arthritis gets worse, I give it to her twice a day until she starts feeling better, otherwise I follow the dosage on the packaging. Buying this product through Amazon is much cheaper than other pet stores. I highly recommend this product for dogs with stiff joints and arthritis.

sure helped my dogs!
I have an aged terrier mix that tore an ACL and isn't a surgery candidate, and an aged pug with an old back injury and very weak, painful hindquarters. I started the terrier on Synovi G3 soft chews I purchased from my veterinarian, and they did such a good job with relieving her issues that I thought, "Why not?" and started my pug on them as well ... with excellent results. The pug, whom we've looking at as approaching end-of-life, is so much better that it's rather startling. The soft chews were significantly cheaper on Amazon than through my vet, and I'm sure sold on them. They're the only thing I've tried that seem to really make a noticeable difference with my dogs. Highly recommended ...

Unbelievable!! Truly turned a young dog's life around!
I've always wanted a hound. And, after buying my 1st home, I was able to finally get one! I did a lot of research and finally brought my new Black & Tan Coonhound home to join the family. All of my research prepared us to expect hip & joint problems when she got older, but she started showing alarming signs of discomfort shortly after her first birthday!! We started to notice that when it was cold she was very slow, and if something was too high (like the bed, or even, couch), she would put her front legs up and look back at us like she was asking for a lift up. She would almost never sit on command, instead doing a little dance from one back leg to the other. When she did sit she was noticeably uncomfortable, usually leaning to one side or the other. At first I thought this was all due to her just being spoiled rotten and training us. After all, I thought, she was hardly a year old!! But then I started really watching, and knew it wasn't just that. After her trainers mentioned noticing something also, we took her in to the vet to have some x-rays taken, and find out what was going on. The x-rays showed plenty of worries to come. On one side, her bone was only seated 1/4 of the way in her hip socket, and the other bone was squarely shaped so didn't fit at all!! The vet told us she would definitely need surgery in her lifetime. After her x-rays, we tried that Nature's Miracle, a powder supplement a friend had highly recommended that was available at the local pet store. It made her coat a bit shinier but I didn't notice much else. Then I found Synovi G3 here on Amazon and read some reviews. We were a bit concerned that all the reviews I had read were on much older dogs, but still decided to give it a try. We are SOOOO HAPPY we did!! Shortly after starting her on them, not only did her eyes and coat start to just completely change and shine brightly, but all of a sudden she was jumping up on things without hesitating, playing & wrestling with her brother like never before, and sitting on command before you could even get the "Sit!" out of your mouth!! Even offering them on her own! Her trainers have both commented repeatedly on how fantastic she looks, and were amazed at her willingness to follow commands now and her reaction time to them.I just cannot begin to say enough good things about this stuff!!! My hound is a changed dog. Seriously. She has been on them almost 3 months now. We have bought a couple of the Synovi G3 Soft Chews 240 ct to stock up, and don't imagine taking her off them anytime soon. As long as she continues like this, she'll be on them the rest of her life!! We've even started giving it to our other dog. He is a mixed breed, and healthy as an ox, but we thought that after everything we've seen Synovi G3 do for her it couldn't hurt!! If any of you are wondering, I do not work for them, nor do I know anyone who does. This review has been written because it's an amazing product and has truly changed my 1.8-year old, 70 lb, Coonhound's life!! Synovi G3 Soft Chews 240 ct

Vitamin gummies
My furry kids seem to enjoy the taste. Max (boxer) 🥰loves it, Prince (poodle) I add peanut butter, MacCoy (mini Golden) also with peanut butter. But once they try one they want to repeat.

This product isn't this product!
I love Synovi G3--but this ain't it!Twice I've ordered the Synovi G3, [which my blind Dalmatian loved (because of its moist chewiness) and thrived on]. And twice I received a container of pellets harder than hail. The container (from two different lots) is stamped as though it were "fresh": but I've handled fresh, and this ain't it.Buy this only from the original source, or beware. Forewarned is forearmed, and when it comes to the health of your beloved pet, my best suggestion is "caution."
