Quality cables
I purchased these jumper cables because of brand reputation, the strong grip clamps and large gauge, 100% copper cables. They are heavy compared to copper clad aluminum cables and the price reflects the difference. Sixteen feet is more than enough reach in most cases.

Quality isn't inexpensive
I hesitated to review these as I have yet to need them. However, living for much of my life in Montana and Alaska, I know the value of good jumper cables. When you really need them at -40, they must perform. Wimpy cables might get you by in a high school parking lot during a warm day, but fail miserably in difficult conditions. These are very well made with good jaws. Well worth the price.

extra long
The longer cables have been useful, they are also heavier weight. Definitely worth the money!

The real thing.
After doing research for a while I finally found what I wanted. Most all of today's jumper cables are made of CCA wire (copper clad aluminum) and are made in China. This product is 100% copper wire or conductor and quality made in the USA by a company that has been around for decades. You can tell it's all copper by how heavy it is when you hold it. If you want a light weight set of cables then this is not for you. But if you want an old school set of cables that will last you to the point that you might never need to buy another set, this is it.This is how all booster cables were made many years ago when I started driving. For me this purchase was a no brainer. I don't mind paying a little more for QUALITY.

Nice Heavy Cables Made in USA
You can immediately feel the difference between these solid copper cables and the imported copper-clad aluminum cables typically sold today. I came into a pair of cables from this manufacturer 30 years ago when they were left.in the trunk of a used car I bought, and still have them today. This is a buy it once and never worry about it again kind of product - just make sure you take it out of the trunk when you buy the next car.

NOT WORTH IT!!! SO UPSET!!!!
If I could give these O ratings I would.I bought these back in January 2019 and I just needed to use them and they DON’T WORK!!!My battery in my car died and I had these cables and thought no problem I got jumper cables when someone offered to help. Boy was I speechless when they DIDN’T WORK!! No spark at all when touched together so that was my first clue. Then when attached to the battery...NOTHING!!!!I never thought to try them out after I got them didn’t think I needed to!!! So now I’m out the money and can’t get a refund.LOUSY LOUSY cables!!!Definitely DO NOT recommend these!!!!!

The very best
Pure copper cables in a heavy gauge. Better conductivity with the heavy gauge and pure copper is more flexible, making them easier to use than the typical copper clad aluminum of cheap cables. These are the cables you want on a cold, dark night.

Invest in this high quality tool
These are quality tools that should outlast you. They are made in USA of 100% copper conductors, 4 gauge. They should be able to instantly start anything with four wheels. I have a set each for both of my cars. I shopped around before buying them. For a few bucks more than the Autozone BC2 ($49, made in China out of copper-coated aluminum cable) you can get the best. All jumpers are not created equal. Throw away those thin aluminum things and get one of these.
