I use them for my 686+. For the low price I expected sub-par, but they’re actually high quality. These are the twist-release style, which in my opinion aren’t as great as your more expensive ($40+) spring loaded ones- but I’d highly recommend buying these anyway as they work just as intended and at such a great price, you can have a multiple on standby for range day. 5 stars simply because there’s no drawbacks to this purchase at all. First of all, I really appreciate the reasonable price and the super-fast delivery as I just received them at my front door. I have never ever used a speed loader but I want to carry my revolver as EDC so I felt compelled to purchase a speed loader out of necessity. I have worked with the loaders and found them to be fully functional and with a little patience and work, I believe I can become proficient in using them. I would buy them again. Hopefully, they will still function successfully a few years down the road.

These are ok for the price point they are not easy to lock in the rounds can be tight but they work. They release the rounds into the gun easily with a quick turn.

a very good speed loader and very robust. I used these loaders during my career with out disappointment at all. As with anything if you practice with these loaders they are very fast. HKS also makes numerous loaders for many different revolver companies. These are being used for a Ruger GP 100 357 7 shot 3 inch barrel and did require me to modify the very nice walnut grips that were on the gun. However, after the use of a Dremel tool I was able to achieve the necessary clearance so that loader performs as designed. You can't go wrong with HKS and yes you can spend a lot more for other brand loaders. HKS is worthy of your consideration.
