Backgammon Travel Set in Sturdy Leatherette Design - The Classic Board Game in Roll Up Style

This board is beautiful. I didn’t expect the great quality, the ease of use and even small things like little tabs inside to help pop the stone out of the case with ease. We took it in a medium size backpack for use on our cruise vacation and now use it everywhere. Excellent product. Best traveling backgammon board I’ve ever seen.

Perfect gift for grandkids traveling

This is the best travel set! It's designed to be portable and it is. It rolls up so compactly with a compartment for the dice and markers, but opens to a full size board. The points are stitched well so the markers move smoothly around the board. Because it's a travel set it doesn't have a center bar, there's little room to roll the dice so we just roll them on the table/blanket, no dice cup. I put a weight of some kind (bottle opener) in the end pouch to keep it from rolling back on the board a bit. Also because it's a soft board it needs a flat surface to set on... laps don't work. I can carry this in my backpack or beachbag. I highly recommend this if you want a quality portable game.

Purchased these as a travel backgammon set. Nice design with one exception, it is difficult to get the playing surface to lay flat. Since the game is curled up for travel the board material has a memory and will not lay flat making it difficult for the pieces to stay put not slide off there blot. Only way to play was to put something heavy on the edges to prevent the board from curling up. Suggest to different material for the playing surface that does not retain the round up curl and lays flat.

Love the portability of this item. Opens up to a board that is easily playable, board is pleather and points are all sewed down, excellent construction. Pieces are a good size and quality. Doubling dice and basic instructions. Online video tutorial with code included needs to be accessed within 30 days of purchase-did not notice it so I did not use it.

Very well made. Great for traveling especially with the zipper pocket for all the loose pieces. Good gift for any fan of the game.

Does not lay flat. It would be better if it was magnetic.
