Loved it so much we ordered another one!
Love this stero!! Came prewired for VW and Audi vehicles so it was super easy to install in my Beetle! The picture and touchscreen quality are great and the adjustable screen is perfection!!! I tried TWO other touch screeb stereos before this and this is by far a superior product! It also allows for you to add android auto play or apple auto if you purchase a separate dongle which is awesome!!! I am SO pleased with this unit! Loved it so much we ordered a second for our truck!!

Great unit with one fixable exception
I installed this unit in my old Mercedes E320. This car has been great and I didn’t want to sell it just to get the latest tech and entertainment options. Because the chassis is a single din unit no modification was required. The existing wiring harness also matched up with the exception of the dimmer and ignition power on wire which were easily taped into. The line level outputs worked with the stock Bose amp with no modification and the system sounds much better then the stock radio. I also purchased and installed the backup camera license plate and the Apple Car play dongle. After a few weeks using the unit I am very pleased. The software and touch screen work without hiccups or delays. The screen looks great and the audio is fantastic. I run it using the loud setting which fills out the sound much better then the stock radio ever did. My only complaints: the external mic that came with the unit did not work well, callers complained they could not hear me. I bought a mic on Amazon for about ten bucks and thankfully that solved the problem. The unit will automatically pair with your phones Bluetooth but not WiFi or your phones WiFi hotspot. At least not with my iPhone. After the initial pairing and input of the password you still have to turn on WiFi using the units menu and then select your network. It does remember the password. This is necessary to use google maps etc. If you are using Apple CarPlay you just connect your phone to the dongle and that’s it. So with the exception of the microphone which was inexpensive to replace, this is a great unit that brings my old car’s entertainment system up to date. I recommend it.

Installed in 2001 dodge Dakota
So far rather impressed . Well worth the money. Looked at cheaper radios on amazon none were equal to this in my opinion. Connected a Walmart back up camera and it makes connected my trailer up so much easier. Plan to get on for my 1995 dodge ram

This stereo is AWESOME!!!!
Update ...The problem I was having was due to the power supply through the wiring harness of the 2014 Freightliner Cascadia I drive ... It appears that the power is monitored/regulated by a computer so I ended up running a fused line direct from the fuse box that isn't regulated. Now, it works perfect and sounds great. :-)Nice radio ... That's about it. Installed easily to my surprise, sounds great with plenty of features I wanted but ...It reboots a lot!!! Loses all the settings ... Seems to do it anytime you turn the volume up or use ANYTHING connected to it that apparently uses any more resources than the radio on low volume. Will try power directly from the fuse box instead of the harness to see if that's the problem before looking to return.

NICE PRODUCT WITH LARGE EASY TO READ & OPERATE SCREEN
Installed in my GMC pickup to replace a newer Jenson VX7014 flip screen that had operational and screen stability issues. Straight forward installation (single din model), and everything works perfectly. Good screen quality, and I appreciate the screen level and firm angle adjustments. It would have been nice for the Pumpkin Android 10 to also have had a direct SiriusXM interface connection, however I was able to add a stand-a-lone SiriusXM radio and connect it through the Aux-in ports with no problem. The only difficulty I experienced was obtaining and then loading the correct Off-Line Navigation software. After receiving assistance from Pumpkin Customer Service ([email protected]), they provided the proper link, and assisted with downloading and installation of the software. Easy to use, read, great back-up camera picture, and simple to pair with my Android phone. Overall I am very pleased.

Slow most apps
Waze crashes to the point I had to uninstall. Google maps is painfully slow and barley usable. Spotify is also painfully slow to load an navigate although it will play music fine. I had been using an external USB drive for offline Google Maps, onX Offroad offline maps and Spotify offline files. It just decided not to recognize it after about a month. So now I need to download a lot of data again after reformatting. The screen is nice and the dim function works with the headlights turned on however there is no button illumination. There is power at the harness (checked with test light) the illumination just does not work. The ability to rotate the screen is great however since the operating system will not rotate there is really no point to it. The work around for any app that has menus or functions only available in portrait mode (like onX Offroad) is to use the split screen function. This will put the app into a portrait mode from landscape. Overall I would not recommend the unit. It is just too slow and buggy for something sold in 2020 and especially at this price point. For half the money I'd almost be able to put up with all the limitations.
