It is a bit thicker and stiffer than regular paracord but it twice as strong. Unlike other types of cordage you can easily separate out the special inner strands an still have the sheath for general trying purposes.

This product is pretty nice stuff, almost zero stretch, it appears to have great durability due to the nice tightly woven outer layer. And as always paracord of all type has almost infinite versatility, this being stronger than most has even more options.I must confess I did not as of yet disassemble the cord to find the fishing line or the jute, but looking at the end of a freshly cut piece it definitely appears to be there. So essentially in a nutshell you have great paracord that can do all things paracord related....plus fishing line and tinder should you find yourself needing that more than a piece of paracord.Something many folks don't know, and you can look it up on you tube for instructions is that you can create fishing lures with paracord. A useful skill.Other stuff you can do with paracord that most don't think of is, it can be used for snares and pitfalls. Mojave scissor traps, figure 4 traps and so on.Anyhow my final thoughts are this is worth the price if your using it for camping backpacking, or especially for survival stuff.Essentially the same price as other good brands and has extra perks that go along with it.
