These Iris/Igloo storage bins stack nicely, have a tight-fitting lid, have lid clamps that seem to work well, and are a nice size for many products. Their generally square-corner design means they hold more or waste less space than many storage bins of similar size. I like the gasket around the lid, which provides a seal. I don't know how long the gasket will last, but under hot, cold, or normal conditions I would expect several to a number of years of durability from the material.It is possible to get the lid-clamping handles to "pop" off, but with a little patience, they can be reattached. Lid clamps on all storage bins are a weak link; however, the design of these handles seems better than many I've used in the past.All plastic storage bins have a finite life; however, some bins have greater utility than others. Many bins taper so much from top to bottom that what they will hold is compromised. Some bins when stacked slide every direction. These bins have relatively straight sides, and when stacked they stay in place (although I'm sure in a vehicle with fast corning they will slide).Plastic storage bins don't have the durability of steel bins with durable lid-clamping handles. What they do have is a price point that makes them affordable for many uses, unlike steel bins. These Iris/Igloo storage bins are priced well for their quality. They aren't the cheapest bins, but they certainly aren't prohibitively expensive. So far I've purchased them in several sizes and am totally satisfied with them.

One lot arrived with some cracks. But nowhere that affected use

I have ordered this 4 piece set four times and I really like the sizes and sturdiness of these boxes. I store everything in them from off season clothes to sheet music in my music studio. When we travel from Michigan to Florida for the winter we use several sizes packed tight with food and supplies. They seem to have a tight seal and we haven’t broken one yet. One arrived with a broken edge but I fixed it with clear packing tape. The first set of 4 is 1.5 years years old. My husband stacks them high in our garage so I hope they hold up for many years. I’ll update if they start breaking or if I receive some that are damaged.

Compared to the EZE storage 18 L storage tote, it seems smaller because it is not as High, however it is a few inches longer, so most likely will hold the 18L specified.it is NOT IP67 rated, and I don't think it will be up to the IP67 standards. it is not quite as sturdy as the EZE tote, but I think it will do the job in keeping dust and some moisture out.being that I will be loading vacuum packed and canned foods and storing in my basement it should be sufficient for my intended usage. mike came intact except some of the locking tabs had fallen off, but snapped back into place without apparent damage.

Wonderful way to store winter blankets, cashmere sweaters, wool clothing, etc. Very happy to have these!

So I got these to carry in the bed of my truck. I was not expecting them to be as good quality as they are. The have seals around the lid so that helps them keep out dirt and water. The size is great, they fit nicely under my retractable tonneau cover box. Gives me the flexibility I want to carry items I might need without taking up precious cab space.They are very sturdy and for the price, and compare nicely to way more expensive options.Very happy with my purchase.

Really wasn't sure how many stars to leave here, 5 or 1, depending.I've bought a lot of these boxes. Provided you're holding a completely uncracked full up example, they're my favorite storage box, heavy duty, good latches, stack well.However I'm very frustrated right now, as the incidence of them being broken upon arrival is insane: a couple patently shattered examples, but every single lid and box REQUIRES careful inspection for cracks, especially around fasteners, structural ribs, and the nubs on the side of the black fasteners.I strongly reccomend to the manufacturer to add some form of padding to their shipping box, add thickness to these areas, or likely both.Many of the photos I've uploaded are relatively minor, but when I'm paying more for the name brand made in America heavy duty long term storage sealed option, "just a little bit" broken/chipped/cracked upon arrival is nowhere close to acceptable.I hate to say it, but if you need 8 good boxes, I would order at least 12; in my experience you'll have no problem making up a 4x4 set of breaks from this order to return.

I've been using various sizes of this type of container to organize my crafting materials. I like that I can see through them and they stack nicely.This is the first time I received a set and one had a broken latch. The box was in perfect condition when it arrived but since the both parts of the latch were in the box, I have to assume it broke during packing or shipping.I haven't found a way to contact the manufacturer through Amazon so I emailed the Amazon Warranty Support group six days ago and have not received a response. The containers don't work well with a broken latch so I can only use five of them.

These bins are perfect! They arrived early and in perfect condition. I used them for storing yarn to keep it dry and bug free and these seal up airtight. I added some desiccant packs i also purchased from amazon. The perfect storage solution for my needs. An added bonus to be able to see whats packed inside. I immediately purchased more! Worth the money to protect what is important!
