Perfect for drumkit practice setup
This is a great product. It's actually pretty heavy duty. While I'm sure it would work for many different uses, if you're a drummer looking for a good tablet holder for practicing, look no further; this is what you're looking for. The adjustable gooseneck is REALLY solid, and not the type of construction that will break easily. It's also extremely adjustable, allowing you to set it up behind your kit, and have it peeking over your kit within arms reach so you can click etc..... as needed. The base is heavy (~10 lb), so this thing is not moving anywhere once setup.

A brilliant design!
One of my most prized possessions! I don’t have a TV, I watch movies on my ipad. I used to put the ipad on a pillow on my legs, but I constantly had to balance it, so I looked for a solution. I stumbled onto this by chance on Amazon and ordered one. OMG! What a great invention!! I love it! It’s been a game changer. I can now watch movies hands free, the ipad stays perfectly put, I don’t need to adjust it or anything. I just move it left when I get up from the chair and swing it back in front of me when I watch TV. Really a brilliant design! The base is heavy, so it’s perfectly stable. I adjusted it just right for me, it’s easy to install the ipad and it’s of excellent quality. Highly recommend!

Best thing since sliced bread!!
I didn’t know something like this existed. I don’t know how I found it, but I’m glad I did. I bought new recliners for my sitting room and needed something for me to watch my tablet with more comfortably than sitting on my lap. I was getting neck and wrist pain from holding it up while sitting in my chair. This stand is amazing! It’s sturdy, and the neck and arm doesn’t move unless I move it. And it’s easily adjustable but you have to hold on to the neck to move because of how tight it is. That means it doesn’t slip down with the tablet in it. I do have a Bluetooth keyboard cover for the tablet that’s heavy, and the stand does slide down with the tablet in that, so I have to remove it and use the tablet by itself. But the holder is so strong that I have no fear my tablet will fall out. I just put it back up when I’m done watching but I could actually leave it in there all night if I wanted to. It also holds my iPhone 8 with a nice grip. The holder has two loops that you use to grab and extend the holder. It easily stretches to fit my 12.9” iPad. I keep it in landscape but it easily turns to portrait with a smooth glide. The base is heavy and doesn’t tip over even with the arm low. If I need to go very low, I sit the stand up against my chair to avoid tipping over and it’s fine. I put some felt under the stand due to my hardwood floors getting a little scratched from me moving the stand back and forth. Now it glides without worry. The silver color is a beautiful design and blends in with my sitting room. I didn’t want a gaudy floor stand being a feature in the room. When I’m done, it slides easily in the corner between my recliner and the wall so it’s not the first thing you see when walking into the room.I spend many hours every evening after a busy day relaxing in my new recliner, watching movies hands free on my iPad with this floor stand. I highly recommend!!Edit: 2025 and I’m still using this stand every day. Holder and arm are still tight. No issues at all. If this ever breaks I’ll get another one asap. This brand is amazing, even their other products.

Depends on your use
I have bought multiples, for myself and relatives, especially for uses while in a recliner or bed. It does the job we need.AND YET....The hardest part is getting it in the optimal angle and position for your use while also having it easy to be out of way when you get out of the chair. It becomes a work in progress. If you are fussy on how or where you want it to be positioned, you'll be playing with it a lot.AND THERE ARE PRAGMATIC TRADE OFFS.SUCH AS: if the angle arm was really easy to flex and move, it would not be very stable. But to be stiff enough, it is really hard to move and twist. Don't plan on having multiple bends in the flex arm.ANOTHER: it holds the phone or tablet in a very tight grip. It is stiff to put in and not a quick or easy release. It takes two hands, well, for me, anyway. However, if it didn't do that, your expensive phone or pad or kindle would easily come loose and crash on the floor.PLUS: Any stand, whether sitting on desk or floor, is going to vibrate a bit every time you touch your device. Good for holding during a video call or watching program streaming, or putting your screen in position for distraction viewing while you ride an exercycle. It's bit more difficult if you are reading articles and scrolling down a page, with a few seconds of vibration every time you touch your device. Typing on screen? Forget it.WHAT I WISH IT HAD: A ratchet or rotator in the base that would allow you to turn the arm without moving the base. You can turn the upper section by loosening the knob that raises or lowers the height of the stiff bars, or turn the entire structure by lifting it off the floor and moving the whole shebang. If you try to turn it without doing either of those, you are unscrewing the main tube from the base or disconnecting the straight tubes from the upper arm.As said a the top, it does the job, is solid and best of all floor stands I have looked at. And I never found one that has an arm rotator.

Excellent angles and LONG sturdy gooseneck!! 10/10
Excellent stand with long gooseneck. I purchased this stand after my other kindle stand wasn’t long enough to reach the middle of my light of sight when sitting in a “Big and Tall” sized recliner. This new stand with the gooseneck is excellent. Holds my kindle at the perfect angle (adjustable!!) and has a long gooseneck that is very sturdy. It is a little hard to move the gooseneck into position but once you muscle it in place, it stays. This is heavy duty for sure. I’m using this for my kindle Paperwhite but I recommended it to sister for her heavy iPad. There’s no way this one is sagging with heavier tablets. Very well made and worth every penny. Highly recommend.
