I have tried other wedges before. They were too big, not firm and didn't have enough inclination to allow the correct positioning of the hips that favors the needed lumbar lordosis. This wedge corrects all those faults of other wedges . Finally I could find it ! it doesn't have a cover but I like it is black and small so it is discrete.And the material is not slippery .

NOT DENSE...DO NOT BUY. I wish I could give this product "zero" stars! Background -- I purchased a foam wedge cushion from my Chiropractor's office many years ago. The product was made of a dense material and retained its wedge shape allowing my hips to tilt forward and improve my sitting posture. It worked very well but, with daily use over the years of use, it wore out. I decided to purchase this item thinking it was of similar quality. However, the foam is NOT DENSE and DOES NOT HOLD ITS SHAPE for anyone who weighs over 90 pounds. It is only 2-5/8" thick (not 3" as a reviewer posted). With little effort, I compressed the widest portion to 1/4" thick. Buyer beware!

I work a lot with my computer and always had a back issue, and so I tried many different chairs. Recently a chiropractor told me about these types of foams and after using it in the past few days its been a huge change for my back posture. I'm pain free and I feel I have a great posture now while working. Its firm, doesn't loose its shape, portable, and works perfect in chairs and even in the couch. My health provider made a referral to a physical therapist for pains I experience when seated for a time, especially in my car. This wedge raises my hips above my knees when I'm seated. This has been very helpful and reduced the ache in my butt and knees. Devices like this lose some stiffness over time and must be replaced periodically. This one seems almost identical to the one my provider furnished.

Good seat wedge for the price although somewhat short in length and "sinks" in the center after only a few weeks of use. I am a physical therapist and believe the seats of most chairs are not angled correctly to promote good back posture. Before purchasing the wedge I would often elevate the back of my seat with a rolled up towel, scarf, jacket, etc. The wedge is definitely better than nothing and I do use it every day. I gave 2 away to friends with back problems and I'm not sure that they like or use them. But I have to say as I sit here on my chair with the wedge on the seat, I think I should increase the rating to 4 out of five since it does decrease my back pain and allow me to sit longer and enjoy reading the paper. I do recommend this product.

It is too soft an it does not helping me to sit straight at my desk at all. On the picture ( a person was sitting on it) it looks much more hard and more stabil. A waste of money. Not ok to make the wrong impression on the bayer. A soft one is simply useless.

When I received this in the mail I thought oh great I made a mistake I should have got a bigger one but this piece is so sturdy it does the exact job and I can use it in different places to relieve the pain in my back and shoulder which makes it show much easier during the day for me to move and stretch.

The height at the back is just shy of 3", and it keeps my keyboard at a very good angle, which is what I want it to do. Because it's not quite as wide as my keyboard ( it's 15" and my keyboard's almost 20"), the legs on the back of the keyboard don't really engage, so I have to adjust the keyboard now and again. (To be fair, I haven't taken the plastic off the wedge, so ....) However, occasional minor adjustments aren't a big deal, and overall, I like it. My keyboard's one of those ergomic ones, so it's got a wavy shape, leaving part of the wedge exposed, and I sometimes rest my elbow on that when I am thinking before I type - and the wedge is keeping its shape despite that. Especially if you have a 15" keyboard, I'd recommend this one.

If you need a cheap way to angle your bookshelf speakers to your ears, these are great way to do use at a decent price that also absorbs vibrations.

The cushion was as advertised except it was too soft for our purposes. Would recommend a memory foam for more firm support.

It's very flimsy - it doesn't provide much if any support when you sit on it. This is one of those items that you get what you pay for - other wedge cushions are more expensive but you'll likely receive a superior product. This purchase is disappointing.

used it as a book stand on my lap, works perfect

main complaint is it is not 4"...3.5 at best....and the 12"dimension is just not wide enough....I now own 9 different cushions for the car and none of them work!
