If you’re new to hand lettering, would definitely recommend this, the hard tip pen is the all rounder! Just a star less because of the pricing. If you would like to practice calligraphy with it, I would definitely recommend...

I gave these 5 stars because for writing these are smooth flowing and the ink has a rich color.I highly recommend them for that purpose.But I am getting back into cartooning again after several years and I now recall that Iused dip calligraphy pens or fountain pens for the super fine lines I need.I think these two types of media can be used interchangeably.So though I have ordered the dip pens I will indeed be using these when I need a thicker line.

Best pen I’ve ever bought, and I’m a bit of a stationery snob! There is a bit of learning to figure out how to use it right, especially the green one with the softer tip. But it make my writing look beautiful! Ordered to use on wedding invite envelops and they look great.
