I see a lot of negative reviews, most saying that only the micro-USB worked or the others didn't. I was just about to return mine when I noticed that both the 30-pin and the lightning connectors had a micro-USB port at the rear. It dawned on me that the micro-USB has to be plugged into either of the others to work! Sure would have saved a lot of angry reviews if that little tidbit had been included in the packaging or the item description. Never assume people are smarter than a 3rd grader!

I purchased 4 of these cords. Three of these cords are 5 star but one doesn't wok properly. The interchangeable pieces don't fit on the main cord.

Awesome wire. Makes finding a wire for charging very easy. Has helped organize my life.

Great idea, garbage execution. I just received two of these from JM Prime, and only the Micro USB on each cable will charge anything. Plus the cables' boxes were both a little beat up. Very disappointing.

The media could not be loaded.  It's hard to write a review on cable; i mean, it's just a cable right? But it's also a very important part of your tablet/phone. The cable is the conduit by which your device charges and transfers data. Device interfaces have come and gone over the years and if you've collected devices like I have, then you are left with a slew of mixed interfaces. Trying to keep track of them all can be a drag, and woe are you if you forget to take the right cable on a trip. StarTech sent me this cable to offer an honest opinion, and I'm happy to report that this is a very nice cable. Cables can be bought cheap, and I've had a number of cables that were are only for charging, others that partially worked for data transfer, and I've had some that were not recognized by an IOS device (or worked in only one direction in the case of a lightning cable). The StarTech cable has none of these problems. It's well made, worked in everything I plugged it into, and having the other connectors attached to the end means no chance of losing a connector. The only downside is length of the combined port, since it's all attached onto the main microUSB port, which might cause problems in shallow cradles.

The media could not be loaded.  As a tech guy, my desk is full of wires, so when they asked me to try out their 3 way cable, I jumped at the chance to try it!I have tons of gadgets on my desk that use either the old Apple 30 pin connector, the newer Lightning connector and of course a bunch of Micro-USB devices. Before this cable, I had 3 different ones on my desk, plugged into 3 different power bricks. Now, I have just one cable, and one power brick, freeing up 2 outlets and removing 2 cables from my desk.Although you can't use all 3 at once, I love the fact that I can just change heads and charge my devices without all the clutter.I hope you found this review helpful. For me the main component of any charging or syncing cable is whether or not it's durable.I've had many micro USB cables over the lifetime and many just can't handle the daily grind and eventually bend or the plastic housing comes apart.So to say I was skeptical when I saw that the micro USB connector was going to be used for all connections, including lightning etc and still hold up is an understatement.But this micro USB connector is SOLID. And it has to be.Attaching the other 2 adapters is very straight forward and not having to constantly look for a different cable when connecting a different device is really wonderful.This became my primary charger to see if it could hold up and it did extremely well. I was worried that the lighting or docking connector would eventually break away etc were unfounded and it help up to some pretty good punishment.It now resides in my office as a single cable and when another user asks to charge the phone, it just works.Alternately this can be put in a car and used to charge all your different friends gadgets and keep the car clear of clutter.Syncing a 4th Gen iPod works perfect as does lighting connector and iTunes sync etc.Looks odd... Wouldn't charge either my iPad mini 2 or my iPhone 4S. Sent back for refund
