Electric Skillet By Culina 18/10 Stainless Steel, Nonstick Interior, with Glass Lid, 12-inch Round, Ptfe/pfoa-free, Dishwasher-safe

I've had this skillet for 8 months, and it still works great. I use it at least once a week and it hasn't lost any of it's nonstick qualities. There's no sign of the nonstick surface flaking or pitting either. There are some things that I do to take care of this skillet that I'll pass on. I don't ever fill it with water to soak it. I wipe it out with paper towels while it's still warm, and then just wash it out with hot soapy water and a sponge. I always just use the sponge side, never the scrub side even if it says non scratch. When I notice some discoloration to the skillet surface, I'll put a tiny bit of a tasteless clear cooking oil in the skillet after it starts to warm up when I go to heat it for cooking, and then wipe the warmed skillet with a tightly folded paper towel. Wipe hard with a textured paper towel and you'll see some of the discoloration come up on your paper towel, and this will also keep the non stick surface from sticking. Then just use it as you normally do. I just wish they had this skillet in a bigger size too.

I bought this skillet for my husband (who always makes me breakfast!!). He prefers an electric fry pan to a regular skillet because he feels he can better control the temperature. The pans we have had in the past always had spots that didn't heat consistently and the non-stick coating eventually would wear off. The temperature controls also would be difficult to adjust. He was somewhat skeptical when we opened the package. It was low to the counter and heavy. He has now used it for several months and finds it to be the best skillet he has used. The control is easy to adjust. The temperature, while not perfect, is the most consistent of the many pans he has used and the ceramic coating cleans well. The pan is stylish and well made. A definite keeper!UPDATE April 5, 2019. I am placing an order for our third pan. My husband still loves the pan but when you use it at least once a day it does seem to wear out faster then one would like. The problem is the temperature control. After about a year it starts to become inconsistent in maintaining temperature. It is now to the point you almost have to watch it the entire cook time to make certain it stays the temperature you want. Having said that, it is still the best pan we have found and as I said earlier, we are ordering this pan for the third time. Hope this one will have better temperature control.

This is a real gem of a high quality electric skillet, and quite frankly I haven't found one thing that's wrong with it. The thermostat is especially well designed as it maintains the skillet at the precise temperature, and not surprisingly it cooks the foods evenly throughout. What more could one possibly ask? If you're looking for the ultimate in cooking perfection, this is the one that you're looking for! I actually purchased five of these Culina electric skillets as Christmas presents for a friend and close relatives, and I've heard nothing but praise over them! My best advice is to grab these Culina electric skillets now as there are absolutely none better around anywhere!

Pros: Very nice looking. Seems to cook fairly evenly. Supposed to be dishwasher safe. I’ve used it 3 times since I received it in late May. Cons: the Teflon coating has bubbled up already. This renders it useless to me. I won’t use defective Teflon. See the attached photo for the bubble in the Teflon coating.I would not recommend this product.

Love this skillet. I had Sears stainless steel one like this for over 30 years. I bought a cheap store bought one after this one and it was terrible. I guess you get what you pay for in a skillet. This Culina skillet works great by heating the bottom of the pan evenly and is very easy to clean since it is a non stick type. It can be put into the dishwasher and is a very solid skillet.

Disappointed about the sticker on the inside of pan. It took some doing to get off. I first tried to soak thinking that would work, but it did not. I had to use a plastic scraper and that did not work. I finally used a soft pad and it finally came off but left a mark on the pan. I have not used it for cooking and hope nothing sticks to the place where the sticker was located. What was with the sticker???

Bought this June 4, 2016. And already peeling.. Its only my husband and I and it hasn't even made it 6 mths.That's too expensive to do that.. We DID NOT use any metal objects in this pan, washed only with a soft towel. Now I cant return it cause of over 30 days.So terribly disappointed!!!!!

I can't believe they would make a hot appliance without putting insulators between the handles and the appliance. Have to use hot pan holders to touch the thing. Also, the temperature regulator keeps sliding out. The light is still on so you think it is heating, and it isn't. That gets a bit annoying. (You think something is cooking and it's not. ) The pan itself is really nice. Good size and good quality. When the temperature regulator stays in place, it seems very accurate for the degree you set it on. Because of the hot handle thing I'm not sure if I'd ever buy another one but otherwise like the product.

Don't buy this frying pan unless you want to burn your hands. I should have known that a frying pan without plastic handles would become very hot. But I took the chance and bought it anyway just to see.

Arrived quickly. Works well. The temperature indicator is a bit off, but not so bad that it would affect what you're doing. There is a 1" band around the outside edge that doesn't get as hot as the centre. When I used it to make pancakes this became evident. Not a huge problem, just an observation. Overall I like it and will continue to use it regularly. I love that it is fairly shallow - so many other ones are too deep.

I love love love this skillet it is large enough to make a whole meal in one pan and I use it every single day! I give this a 10 out of 10.

It is just the right size and not too heavy. I also like the fact the it is dishwasher save. I like it very much
