Dear Sir, I restore a lot of old audio equipment bought on eBay and I used a couple of these cartridges to fit to a pair of Garrard autochangers. The only difficulty I had was with physically mounting the cartridges to the Garrard head-shells, but that was not the fault of the cartridge, as clearly they are intended for fitting to present-day budget-end audio gear. But the actual audio-performance was first-class and I would certainly buy more of these when the occasion arises. Yours faithfully, A satisfied Amazon Customer.

Very good quality sound and last very long happy with the purchase

I swapped the cartridge stylus out on my ION Max LP player which I've had for a few years now and have only previously replaced the stylus on its own. I probably use the stylus for about 10-12 hours a week so it gets reasonable usage and thought I would replace both as pricing was very good compared to the genuine ION replacement.Very easy to fit, had no problems whatsoever. The cartridge is slightly bigger (taller) than the original ION one but seemed to fit okay. However I played a couple of records on it once changing it over and they skipped far more than I remembered. As a test, I played a brand new record I had just bought. That too was very jumpy and the sound was distorted and crackly. I removed the cartridge and stylus, fitted the old one back on and the difference in quality was considerable. The same record did not jump or skip whatsoever and there was no distortion on the same tracks. As four in the pack, I tried it with one of the others but that was the same.Have returned for a full refund. Appreciating that others have nothing but praise for these ones which was what encouraged me in the first place but, in my case, on the ION Max LP unit they did not perform well so I would advice buyers of these or similar ION models to be careful. Sorry. Lovely product, well made and very quick delivery but just not the right thing for me.
