Ordered this mid July 2021 and received the pictured container in a clear plastic bag. The scoop was included in the bottom of the clear plastic bag. I didn't notice it until I took a second look in the bag, its easy to miss since the scoop is a long plastic, nearly clear one about 4 inches long. The taste of this mixed with plain water is about like that of a medium strong Tea. Its kind of bitter but in no way intolerable. I would think it best taken by itself and not mixed with many other things like protein powders or pre-workouts. Even fruit juice would probably taste drastically different. The beta-cyclodextrin is designed to pull things its surroundings so it might do some weird things in your mouth mixed with other things... the taste might be very different from drinking it in water alone. I drink it with cold water from the refrigerator, it dissolves slowly in cold water and takes about 2-5 minutes to form what looks like Ice Tea colored water.. and then it tastes a little bitter.. maybe sweet for some people, but to me it tastes bitter or too sweet.

The packaging states serving size is one leveled scoop, ~275mg. But no scoop is included anywhere in this. I know scoops sometimes get lost at the bottom of these containers, but it's not a very large container, and I fished around with a chopstick and found nothing but a small sealed package of preservative salt.I guess I'll just have to guess at serving size?Also, this is one of the worst tasting supplements ever.

Most of these reviews are focused on the taste. That literally has nothing to do with the product. Nowhere does it say "great taste". So focus on the results. In a months time, I noticed big gains in the strength department. Moved up so much in all my lifts. If you don't mind the TERRIBLE tastes, then give this a shot. I bought two tubs and do use 500mg a day.

So. . . I JUST got it in today so I took 1/2 my recommended for my size. . . I mixed this with my best tasting protein. . . It is the most rancid tasting thing I have ever tasted and I can stomach damn near anything. It smells like the old pencil sharpener mounted to the wall in grade school and tastes even worse. I can ONLY describe it as ground up colored pencils. Now, I will give it a shot and do the whole 109 servings . . . Then I'll update my review. I recommend getting this in capsule form.

No results for a month, kept taking it and started seeing some development. Didn't do anything else as far as energy etc. More muscle could have also just come on from all the exercising. On the fence of this product. Gonna finish the next tub and see if it's still worth it.

Like others I didn't get a scoop, but I have other scoops. And yes the taste is horrible but I'm simply rating this on efficacy. I feel absolutely nothing on it. Even upped the dose to about 800mg a day. We also have no idea what the batch purity on this stuff is. I'd recommend to stay away.Wanted to edit this - this is now officially the first supplement to make me lose my lunch.

Taste was horrible! Only bearable when mixed with black coffee… spend the extra $ for the pills.

This tastes absolutely horrible. Don't misunderstand me, my pre-workout is homemade so its flavor isn't top notch and takes a while to stomach. However, what was already an unpleasant pre-workout drink is now unbearable. I can best describe its flavor as an odd manufacturing oil taste. I can't speak to its efficacy as I just cannot tolerate the taste and it upsets my stomach during my workout.
