NOVA Torque, Accent Floor LAMP

This is a wonderful floor lamp that we've placed in our family room for some abient light in the evenings while watching the television. I was surprized that along with this lamp came an inline dimmer switch. You can adjust the intensity of the light from a dull glow to a brilliant white!There were no instructions that came with this light as it was fully assembled in the box. Except for the bulbs. Now how do you install them? The string "shade" is not removeable without breaking the lamp (I did not try to force the issue). What I ended up doing is pushing my hand through the strings with light bulb in hand and then screwing them into the bases. It caused no damage at all doing this - but I will say that I was a bit uncomfortable in doing it this way as I was afraid that my extra large hand would stretch the strings too far and leave them loose. Not the case here.Bottom line is that the lamp was a great value and is now a beatiful focal point in our family room.

I purchased two of these lamps, and one just completely stopped working. It’s supposed to be still under warranty, but I’ve called their main number which keeps routing to someone’s voicemail. This is so frustrating, because I’ve only had the lamp for a year and it’s already broken and they are being unresponsive. Feel like I’ve been robbed out of 300 bucks. Terrible feeling.

This is a highly attractive lamp. It surprisingly comes with no instructions but it is not difficult to figure out how everything fits together: remove diffusing shade to add light bulbs (being careful not to stretch shade strands), plug lamp into mechanical dimmer, and plug dimmer into wall outlet. Packaging is sturdy but nonetheless our unit had some damage to the top square "lid" and in the diffusing shade. The "lid" also does not squarely align with the base, suggesting some torque was applied. The manufacturer should add package labels such as "Fragile", "Glass" (light bulbs), "Do Not Crush" and "This Side Up", as the lamp is light for the box's size and the box looked rather beaten up from transport.

It's seriously a beautiful piece for my living room. I was a little worried, but it truly is art. My only wish is that the dimmer wasn't as bulky and not as easy to manage (I just have it on the floor next to it) but other than that 5 stars!

I bought this lamp in late 2020 and today it doesn’t work. I contacted the company and have gotten very limited responses to deal with my issue. I have older less expensive lamps in my house that still work till this day yet my most expensive lamp stopped working. Buyer beware.

This is a gorgeous lamp.The strings have a slightly metallic look to them but are smooth to the touch. The base and top are a smooth wood or synthetic material (no visible grain). The shade lights very evenly from the three bulbs inside, creating a warm, adjustable glow (adjusted via the included dimmer floor switch).The lamp is not bright enough to light much more than a corner of a room, but it offers excellent ambiance. When not illuminated, the lamp is still stunning—I actually think it's even more attractive when not lit. The only reason that I didn't give this item five stars is because the lamps that were shipped to me (I ordered two) were both damaged in shipping. As always, however, Amazon's tremendous customer service ultimately made it right.I strongly recommend this lamp to anyone looking for a stylish, modern, and unique lighting option.
