Calcium pills are huge and unpleasant to take, so even though I knew I should include more calcium in my diet, the pills would sit on the counter untouched. It's like my mother-in-law, who every night serves a salad with tofu in it, which gets pushed aside. When asked why she keeps including it, she says, "Because it's good for you." Not if you don't eat it!I'm always looking for the least expensive way to do something, but I'm willing to pay the price of these chews. I just can't get past those horse pills. I find the taste of the chews enjoyable, even as a substitute for having something sweet as a snack or dessert. I usually get the milk chocolate flavor. Having lost weight, I count calories, and these chews have just 15 calories per chew. I supplement with a 1,000mg Vitamin D gel pill and I'm starting to realize even these measures aren't enough to stave off osteopenia and osteoporosis. I've been resisting it, but it's time to start weight bearing exercises!

I was thinking that these would be like Tootsie rolls. but they are actually melt-in-your-mouth soft and very rich in chocolate flavor. Delicious! I purchased these because I am a twenty-one-year-old who has already been on Depo-Provera birth control for two years. Depo's downside is that it reduces my bone mass density at a much higher rate than normal. This is a yummy, inexpensive, and easy way to make sure that I am getting the extra calcium I need every day, along with orange juice, milk, and yogurt. I also appreciate the Vitamin D included because I have seasonal effective disorder, so the extra Vitamin D really helps with my mood, energy, and overall happiness. I recommend these for anyone, but especially if you need extra calcium like I do.

These chewable should are the best I’ve tasted. It’s almost like treating yourself to a soft piece of chocolate. No side effects experiences when taking 2 daily with water. I’ve been using these for over a year. Would highly recommend.

I can't swallow large pills and am deficient in Ca and Vitamin D so chewables is the way to go. And I love chocolate so when I get a craving in the afternoon I'll chew 1 or 2 of these and kill two birds with one stone. Of course they DO contain sugar, corn syrup and hydrogenated oil so not exactly a health food! I tried the sugarless ones from Costco but didn't like them near as much AND those really stuck to my teeth - so went back to these.

It allows me to meet my calcium goals without the possibility of choking on a huge pill, and since I have a very narrowed esophagus, this is a necessary requirement for me. I have found this to be an effective supplement and a better option, especially for Seniors, or those with swallowing problems, than the pills. I give this product a 5.

With these chews I don't have to swallow as many vitamin pills. They are delicious and easy to chew, tasting much like a Tootsie Roll. Anything that encourages me to get my calcium in each day I am happy with. With these chews it is easy and even fun to take my calcium. I like that they also include Vitamin D and K (I still take extra Vitamin D supplements though as I am deficient).

THIS IS AN IMPORTANT SUPPLEMENT FOR PEOPLE WANTING TO HELP AVERT OSTEOPENIA, OR TO SUPPLEMENTCALCIUM & OTHER SUPPLEMENTS AS NOTED.I NOTICED SEVERAL TIMES THAT WHEN I RUN OUT & DO NOT TAKE THIS FOR A FEW WEEKS, I GET SEVERE CHARLIE HORSES; BUT ONCE I BEGIN AGAIN, WITHIN A FEW DAYS OF RETAKING IT, THEY GO AWAY.I ALSO HAVE MORE ENERGY WHEN TAKING THESE EVERYDAY.

When I received this package, the plastic lid was missing and the wrap across the top of the box (that holds the chews in the box) was off and all 100 chews were loose in the package it was mailed in. Where is the plastic lid??? Was this tampered with, not sure, so I threw them away!! Amazon gave me a refund because this product is non-returnable. This is a great product, but this shipper is questionable!!
