i purchase this printer because my super smart brother recommended it to me. its been a blessing i have been printing and the ink does not run out so far. only thing is i need to figure out how to get the wireless part to work i have been using a wire and it does not come with a wire you have to purchase this one came with ink. and the ink is cheap btw

Did not last a year before I started having problems with it. This is the second one I purchased. I will look for a better one next time.

Love the fact that I can be 100 miles from the copier and can print copies from my phone so when I get home I have printed copies ready for review

I've had this printer for some months now, so have had time to explore. Setup was easy. That earned it a star in the review. However... since then, it usually takes at least an hour of my time disconnecting, reconnecting, resetting WiFi, restarting my computer, opening and closing all the doors of the printer, etc, before I can get a printed page out of the machine. It continually tells me it's out of paper when I have a full tray (or varying levels to coax it to recognize the paper). Sometimes all its lights start blinking like a disco and I have to turn it off for a while. The scanning worked early on but has not worked for months now. Whenever I want to try to look at the settings to scan, I have to go back and forth to the printer and type in a little number on the inside of the machine over and over. I've written in to HP support a couple of times about the scanning but never hear anything back. Generally I have to drive the 25 minutes to UPS to get documents, signatures or receipts scanned because the printer won't do it. And more recently, while it still prints with colors (I hardly ever use the color function and the interface says I still have 67% left), the colors that come out don't come close to what is on my screen that I'm trying to print. This printer is totally useless for its original purpose, but I'm close to trying to get some return on investment by taking a video of running over it with my excavator so I can post some entertaining content. This awful printer (and the bar is pretty low to begin with on printers) has prompted me to write my second online product review ever. Never buy this printer.
