The pictures don't really do this extension justice. It looks great. And it works very well.One of the pleasant surprises is that is has two independently adjustable, good, solid, sturdy, stabilising feet that adjust on a "screw" basis (you turn them around to extend or retract). The overall effect is that even if you have an uneven wall, the plugs can sit solidly and safely.Independent switches too are surprisingly useful. It's obvious that they will be handy, but the lived reality makes them so much more important than I originally gave credit for.All in all, gone are the messy cables that needed to be swapped around depending on which appliance I am using. Hello nice clean neat kitchen worktop. Love it.

I only have two plugs on one side of my kitchen and it can get annoying because one of them is used for the fridge and the other one I need to rotate between the microwave, coffee machine and the dishwasher which resulted in times where I couldn't heat up anything up because the dishwasher was running.I had an extension cable plugged in but that causes a mess of wires which get in the way. This doesn't add to the mess and the little legs are great to make sure it doesn't unplug from downward pressure at an angle. And you can turn off each one specifically which is great since I tend to do that for anything I'm not using at the time.No issues with plugging in things like others have had, the cables plug in quite easily, just need to go in with the longer prong first which opens the slots for the smaller ones. That's a general security feature most UK plugs have.Only issue is that it is a bit too high up so if it's a dual outlet and the plug you're using in the other socket is too big, the wire might not fit around it. I took the risk knowing that and the only cable that fits is my coffee machine, the others are too thick at the base of the plug so get in the way. I would have preferred to have my fridge plugged in directly rather than in the extension.

I needed a multiplug for one of my kitchen sockets to plug in my Alexa, smart meter & vacuum cleaner battery charger as well as having a spare plug.I could not find previous model I bought from Amazon - it is ideal. So I opted for this one.As a 4 gang multiplug it does what it says.It’s just bigger than the previous one and doesn’t give the same clearance from the countertop.The switches work & it says it’s surge protected.Does almost everything I wanted.Probably better suited to an office environment than a kitchen.

Does the job but initially you'd think the earth pin of the plug isn't going to go in, it's very stiff. However, once the plugs are in the sockets, it's fine.

I needed a solid socket extender that fitted below the wall socket and this one is perfect. The unit has screw out stabilisers at both ends, to ensure that there is no wobble, when plugs are pushed in to any or all of the outlets. So far it is functioning perfectly and is perfect for my needs.
