Easy install and works as expected.
Like others have said, not sure why this isn't part of a $4k lawn mower. Regardless it's an easy upgrade and at least now I know when to do that first oil change without keeping track somewhere else. I highly recommend the part.

Very good, but pity it's not a bit cheaper
Picked this up for a Toro 50" Timecutter 75750. Very easy to install. The power line is attached on another cable with electrical tape. Peal off the tape. Use a box cutter blade to gently cut the hole in the area by the starter key (press along the surface and you'll feel the rectangular hole). Slide the power line underneath, pick it up with your fingers and attach it to the timer. Be patient and carefully push it up so that it covers the two terminals completely. Then insert the timer. I found it's easier to read the timer by having it face outward rather than my trying to stare down at it while sitting on the mower.I realize there's a cheaper one for under $20. I've read though that it brings up a 50-hour oil change. The Toro Kawasaki engine wants one every 100 hours. I'd rather have something a tad more accurate. I'm also a bit concerned about something that cheap. Sometimes you get what you pay for and that price concerns me about how sturdy the timer is.And on my Toro it adds time while I'm mowing. Stopped, with the engine running but not the blades, and it doesn't appear to add time - which makes sense. One would assume that no one is going to spend a good deal of time with the engine running but not doing anything. It would be better if Toro installed it on all of its zero-turns when they were made rather than having someone decide whether or not to buy one after obtaining the mower.

Easy install but my gripe is with the oricing
This works great on all toro myride time cutter mowers, install was a breeze and I was able to cut the cutout and install it without even removing the control panel. The gripe however is that with a $3000+ mower it makes no sense why this isn't installed from the factory. ALL the maintenance intervals are based on hours and how can you expect an owner to easily track that without an hour meter. Also the price is a little unfair, it's an older style LCD display with some plastic and a chip inside it. Yet somehow the prices range from $70-$100?All in all easy install and a requirement for your toro zero turn, but a little unfair on the pricing from a dealer or otherwise.

Good to know proper service intervals.
It was very easy to install since the wiring harness is made to add it. I removed one screw, removed one piece of electrical tape, used a razor blade to cutout a pre-existing spot for it. Plugged it in. And it immediately started working. It was expensive compared to generic units but I wanted OEM. Other than the printed instructions there is no way for me to tell it was OEM. Mine is a 42” Toro Timecutter and the 5 hour oil change is coming quickly.

Ease of installation, fit perfect, unit price a little high.
Just had the item for a little over a week. It was easy to install. Installation time was around 15 minutes. The fit is perfect. For what it is I believe the cost is a little high. I would think that a reasonable price would be around half of the advertised price.

Thought hour meter didn’t work.
Just an FYI ….. I installed this hour meter and thought it didn’t work. It says it records hours of engine runtime but that is incorrect. I started the mower and no time was recorded so I checked for power at the hour meter with engine running and there was no voltage. I pulled out the wiring diagram and discovered that yes power comes from the ignition switch, BUT it runs through the seat switch. Unless someone is sitting on the seat it doesn’t record hours. So if someone like me installs the hour meter, starts the engine and nothing happens, know you know why.

Deceptive Advertising
This product displays an official manufacturer's logo in its amazon advertising which leads one to believe it is an official "kit" made by the identified manufacturer. Well, there is no "kit" and it is not from the identified manufacturer. It is just a cheap time totalizing meter which you can get from other sources for a lot less money.
