Dynatrap DT1100-DECQVCCP DT1100-DEC2 Copper Acre Mosquito and Insect Trap with Optional Wall Mount

Seems to work well and as expected. A few mosquitos but with all the rain - not surprising. I just runs and I have to remind myself to check it occasionally to dump out the dead/dying insects. As mentioned, I have not been bitten by No-see-ums recently --but horseflies are a different matter. They do not seem to be attracted to the light.

This does exactly what it says it's going to. Using in our backyard in florida, on a small lake. Before using this, the mosquitoes would cover our screens to our screened in porch. After just one full day/night, no more bugs on screens. Have to empty everyother day. Will buy another one for our michigan home as well.

We live in the country and the mosquitoes are bad and they love me. I bought one our first summer in the house and what a difference. The key is you have to put it out at the very beginning of the season, clean it out regularly and make sure it keeps running. I bought a second one to cover more of our property.

ok so this is my second on in less than a year. We have a ton of bugs, mosquitos and midges in our acre lot by the lake. This thing brings them all in and holds them in the storage compartment until they die. It is super effective at bringing them in. I have to empty it multiple times per week at the peak of summer. However it kind of smushes some bugs between the fan blade and the housing and creates a layer of smushed bug that eventually jams the fam (2-3 weeks). The good news is that it doesnt burn out, but you have to soak the fan in water to get the bugs off. Also the fan axle is very slim plastic and I broke the first one during cleaning. They do not offer replacement fans which is a shame. it would be an easy repair. I love this device and am much more careful with the new one. just wish it was a bit more robust or had replacement parts.

Easy to clean out all the dead insects. Amazed at the quantity of dead mosquitoes, flies, and moths. Really effective. I do miss the satisfying "ZAAP" sound though.

I bought to catch No serums and flys.It really belongs outdoors.I used it indoors.This trap is not as effective as the wall mounted indoor plug in versions for small pest.For the amount of money it cost.

Just received my package & noticed right box shows protection for up to 1/2 acre whereas the listing shows this to be an Acre unit. We will have return & wait a little longer for the actual size we need to see how well it works.
