Beast of a Grinder
I absolutely LOVE this grinder. I grind up tons of dried eggshells, and freeze dried banana peels, peppers, etc and this thing is a beast. I save so much time over using the small spice grinder that this was well worth the price. The large capacity size and the ability to remove the blades are both a major bonus.

Gets the job done. Not the best grain milling option though
I bought this specifically for milling grains for bread making. You can get a consistently, very fine flour if you grind for about a minute, sift (it comes with a sieve), and grind the coarser bits a second time. Donโt try to simply run the mill longer than 2 minutes. It gets hot, and the super fine flour settles at the bottom and starts to cook. No safety feature, so you have to remember to unplug when open the canister. Overall, if youโre eager to start milling your own grains and tight on cash, itโs a good product. It will give a nice fine flour for breads, muffins, etc. If youโre looking for something that will allow you to grind different sizes with consistency (like polenta or cracked wheat), this isnโt the product for you.

Product failed & Seller professionally replaced with satisfactory
Bought it March 1, 2024 & used to grind toasted herbs abt once a month. Pulled it out 2/28/2025 to use it and it will not turn on. The light is on but the reset red button seems loose and when opened the bottom to possibly reattach it, to no avail. I am really disappointed because it really did beat the multiple coffee grinders I went through & was hoping this was SOLID. Make sure to add insurance! UPDATE: reached out to the seller & they were extremely professional & helpful in resolving this issue by sending me a new replacement within 3 days. They went above & beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I am very happy with the replacement & in their professionalism. I would definitely recommend & do business with them again.

Great machine
This is a really hard-working machine. I mill the flour I use to make dog treats and it is very fast.

Perfect for spices
I grind my own spices and have used a coffee grinder. Finally got one of these. Total game changer. It said to clean it the first time by putting rice in and grinding it. I did as said and when I opened it was shocked to see it was a fine powder! The swing over nut/bold things that hold it down don't line up "perfectly" but still holds it down just fine. The timer is a little old fashioned dial, but for the price I am happy.

Works great!
I love this little grain mill/spice grinder! I use it to mill my whole wheat berries to make my own bread and it works very well for the price. You do need to run it through the mill about 3x to get a very fine consistency. And that's ok because I couldn't afford the $400 grain mills at the moment. Plus I was just trying out something new and I think this is a good option to try before spending a ton of money on something you may not end up liking or using too often.

Piece of Crap
Title: Terribly Disappointed: Greatrue Electric Grain Mill Fails Miserably I purchased the Greatrue Electric Grain Mill Grinder with high hopes, but unfortunately, it has been nothing short of a catastrophic disappointment. Just when I thought my kitchen woes were solved, this product decided to throw in the towel exactly one day after the one-month return window closed. Coincidence? I think not. The troubles began when, halfway through grinding, the machine abruptly stopped working. No warning signs, no gradual decline in performance, just a sudden halt. I assumed it might have overheated, so I gave it ample time to cool down. Yet, even after the supposed cooldown period, it stubbornly refused to restart. It's as if it decided it had ground its last grain and called it quits. The build quality of this product is undoubtedly questionable. Not only did it fail to endure basic usage, but it also crumbled under the pressure of what should have been a routine task. The lack of durability is glaringly evident, making it clear that this grinder is nothing more than a flimsy piece of machinery masquerading as a reliable kitchen tool. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of this disastrous excuse for a grain mill. It's not worth the money, the hassle, or the disappointment. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. Well, maybe I would... Buyer beware: this product is a total waste of time and resources.
