Evelots Metal Replacement Door Clips for Magnetic Door Draft Stopper, Brown- S/3

I've been rolling up a long bath towel and putting it in front of my door to keep the draft out. I found this and ONE CLICK PURCHED! I live in an apartment so the magnets in it works on my door but I chose to still put the hooks on. It's sturdy, moves with the door and KEEPS THE DRAFT OUT! Suuuper happy with this purchase and now I don't have to continue to fix the towel every time I open and close the door. Recommend!!

I love this, it works perfectly for our door. We have a huge gap underneath, probably about a half an inch to a full inch. This clips in and hangs down just enough to cover it completely. It's about an inch or two too narrow but I'm not subtracting stars for that since it is clearly stated at that length. It's a nice heavy velvet type material on one side and a polyester on the other. You can open and shut the door and not have to continuously re position this draft stopper. It's getting warmer outside now but I can still tell that it definitely limits the amount of outside air that blows in. I wish it was a tiny bit more stiff or heavy since it can gap a bit but overall it works exactly as I hoped it would. I bought a traditional draft stopper first and although it was heavier than this one it worked terribly, leaving huge gaps and didn't lay flush at all. This one basically lines the bottom of my door perfect. I have a wooden door so I needed to use the included hooks/bars, whatever you call them. They installed fairly easily, they did scratch the paint a bit but not too bad. Then once they were set in place, sliding the draft stopper onto them was easy and simple. First of all, Green Mountain Imports is the best!This thing works great! Others have said that it will not stay on their metal door but mine is wonderful. However the friction at the bottom is against laminate flooring which is smooth. I can see how it might not stay on as well if it is rubbing against carpet or a rug when the door is opened and closed. If that were my case, I would simply insert some rare earth magnets in the pockets on the back to make the hold stronger. Within an hour of putting it on my door I could tell a big difference in the temperature of the room! I also have a puppy that tried pulling it off the door (she probably thought it would make a good chew toy because it is made of furry fabric) but when she had difficulty getting it loose she gave up and hasn't bothered it since. I would definitely recommend this product and am considering ordering one for my other metal door even thought gap at the bottom isn't that big.

Calling these magnets "strong" is absurd. Open the door, and it falls off. Close the door, and it falls off. Look at it wrong, and it falls off. Go with something else. Ill have to replace this with something more traditional.

The idea is good, I felt that there was less draft than before. Also the clips matched my door, so they were hardly noticeable. However, the way the clips wrap around the door may do more harm than good. They kinda pinch the existing skirt under the door, and when we had a rainy day, these rendered the skirt useless. I came home to a small puddle behind the door. I've never had this problem before, and the puddle was right behind one of the clips, so it's easy to figure out what was the problem.

Totally works as advertised. Durable material and two different ways to mount. As mentioned in other reviews, it is too long for my door...but I just folded over the end and put a rubberband around it. Works perfectly! The door swings out into the garage with steps, and the product hangs tight with the magnets. Wish it came in white to blend with the door more, but I suppose it would get pretty dirty. Definitely beats a rolled up towel.

This is a great product. I spent hours of research - as I do with most things before I purchase - and decided on this one. I chose to use the clips even though I have a metal door because the magnets weren't strong enough to keep it adhered to the door when it was being opened or closed. By using the clips, there is no manually moving or kicking it back in place after shutting the door. Also, the manufacturer must have replaced the clips because mine were sturdy metal, not plastic which was an earlier customer complaint. The only issue I have is that it's a tad short and doesn't cover completely from end to end leaving a tiny gap where air can get through which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. Not enough to be a problem, at least for me. I highly recommend it and feel I made the right choice.

Weakest magnets ever. Can't even hold its own weight; let alone any kind door opening. Not very filled, either. Maybe an inch (if that) of wadding.Just buy the other style (cheaper, too) and use your own magnets.
