Excellent value, wide range
All the components seem to be as advertised, measure correctly. Neatly packed, even if they are in a bizarre order!

Great value and quality
Nice selection of ceramic capacitors, the few I tested are all within spec and they are clearly marked and well made. For some reason, Amazon review wants me to give a star value for "Sheerness". Having never been anywhere near the Isle of Sheppey I can't really offer any review for that.

20% tolerance? More like 50%.
They are nowhere near tolerance - make sure you test them individually before use. Be safe!

They work and they’re organised
I’m just starting out in electronics so it’s nice to have kits like this so I’m not buying each individual piece I need. Also useful to slot things out and experimentation.

seem within tolerance, great price
Spot checked each bin and they're within tolerance for their values. Great price for the assortment. Are you running low?

EXCELLENT QUALITY CERAMIC CAPACITOR ASSORTMENT
This collection has 24 types of 50 volt ceramic capacitors. I tested 3 of the 24 types. There are 35 capacitors in each of these 3 type groups. 35 x 24 = 840. I tested each of the 35 capacitors in a group three times with 3 separate, different capacitor testers. These testers are each based on Atmel microcontroller chips. The manufacturer states that these capacitors have a tolerance of +-20%. On the 56 pF, 56 pico Farad, the average tolerance was 5%, (2 at 7.1%, 24 at 5.4%, 9 at 3.6%). The results for the two other testing devices are so similar that I will not cite them. The next group that I tested were those rated at 4.7 uF, 4.7 micro Farad, the average tolerance was 5.5%, (in the range of 0% to 5% there were 17, in the range of 5.01% to 10.0% there were 15, in the range of 10.01% to 15% there were 3). The results for the other testing devices are so similar that I will not cite them. The next group that I tested were those rated at 100 nF, 100 nano Farad, the average tolerance was 3.4%, (in the range of 0% to 5% there were 27, in the range of 5.01% to 10% there were 8, in the range of 10.01% to 15% there were 0). The results for the other testing devices are so similar that I will note cite them. These test result make it clear that these ceramic capacitors have far better tolerances that the manufacturers specifications. I am perfectly satisfied with every aspect of this transaction, boxing, labeling, tolerance and price.

Good quality
I taught a class on basic electronics for digital media students for a while. No textbook existed that was appropriate for the class, so I ended up writing one. As part of that book, I wanted my students to be able to re-create many of the basic circuits I included in it so they could gain some hands-on experience. I priced components very carefully so students could build their kits as affordably as possible.I built my own kit so I could demonstrate in class the things I discuss in the book. These fit the requirements well, and seem to be good quality as well.
