Should be called 'pelletized animal crack' given how much all my local animals love these!
Every animal that I've given these to LOVES them. I actually bought these to put in my dog's treat ball. She was a rescue & thinks cat food is one of the great delicacies in the universe. These are one of the few treats that she loves, are not made in China, and that fit in her ball. My 2 cats normally don't like treats but they adore these. I feed two neighborhood cats these treats, one normally doesn't like treats but loves these. If there are any leftover the birds go berserk over them. I have no idea what they put them but whatever it is, animals can't get enough. I've been buying them now for over a year - about 1 container per month depending on how many neighborhood cats come around (I have a neighbor with mouse problems so I "invite" the cats over to keep them under control). I used to buy these at Wal-Mart but my local store has had issues keeping this flavor in stock (all the other Temptations flavors they always have). My grocery store & local pet stores also don't carry this flavor regularly. I turned to Amazon & originally they were a bit cheaper here. Now they're up to $13.19 for 14oz!! I'm hoping this is a temporary issue.

The Best Scatter Treats!
Scatter treats time is so fun and these roll all over the place. Just a few of these can keep my three =^o.o^= occupied hunting all over the room for quite some time. Great for training. If your cat won't Shake Paws for these, you haven't been trying very hard. One of mine has figured out that I will always give in if he OFFERS to shake paws. Who is trained and who has done the training? Seriously, it's good to have ways to communicate with our pets, and better if they can communicate back. They are treats--a few per day is all they need or should get, so unless you run a shelter, this container should last a long time!

Four Paws Straight In the Air
Started out with the small bag from my local grocery store as a novelty. It was round, you were supposed to toss it across the floor and watch your cat go bonkers. "What's the harm?" so I thought. It took 2 treats for my kitty to realize this was the greatest thing in the world. She's always liked the Temptations brand, but THESE... these are in a whole other league. She is totally bananas for them, meowing impurriously at me until I throw a couple across the floor. I started a bad habit of tossing a few before I leave for work, when I get home, and when I go to bed. Should I DARE break from this routine I get the most persistent meowing! I keep a few in my pockets to dole out through the day, she knows it and will sit and stare at my pockets, sometimes sitting next to me and pawing at them for a treat. Thanks Temptations, I bought the large bucket size off Amazon because she can't eat just one!At least she is getting some extra exercise in as they go skittering across the floor :)

Quality Cat Treats, But Not Our Favorite Temptations Product
My cats eat an array of treats from Temptations. These truly are 'treats' and are made of almost entirely grain with some meat bi-product. They offer almost no nutritional value for your cat and should be looked at in the same manner you'd look at a cookie. It's not healthy for you- but it's totally fine in moderation. These 'tumbler' treats are a fun alternative to the traditional 'soft middle' treats that temptations creates. My cats prefer the original style (which is why this particular product got docked a star), but these come in a close second. In terms of 'crunchy' treats my cats do seem to really enjoy these. This big plastic container lasts my house of 4 cats about 2 weeks. The cats receive a small handful as a 'snack' each day. This plastic box has a 'open tab' on the lid that allows you to easily remove treats and then store the box back away when you are finished. Honestly, these boxes are easier for me to store than they're smaller zip-block pouches. They fit conveniently in my pantry and can be stacked on top of one another. The treats themselves are small round balls that really do 'tumble'. For really hyper cats I'd imagine this would be nice- but my cats just aren't into it. They love playing with actual toys, but they don't want to play with their treats. If the treats roll away my cats will not chase them and I'll need to run around and pick them up. Instead these treats are fed in small treat dishes to avoid them rolling all over. I'm guessing for kittens or more active cats these could be quite entertaining, though. The treats don't crumble easily and are very hard in texture. This makes them perfect for helping remove plaque from your cats teeth and keeping their gums and mouth healthy. Our cats eat mostly raw meats, eggs, and canned food- so they need that hard 'bone-like texture' to keep good dental hygiene. These treats help do the trick because they are so crunchy. But most of all- my cats love them! They seem to be a bigger fan of the 'soft inside Temptations', but these are a nice way to change things up every once in a while. They especially love this 'Chicken and Turkey' flavor- which is the flavor that I buy most often for them (although they will eat the other flavors as well). Overall these are good treats. Not my cats all time favorite treats, but certainly good enough for them to snack on. We'll be back for more.

Cats have fun with these
Rolling treats are a great idea. Our cats prefer hard/crunchy treats over soft ones, and these have the added bonus that they have to catch the treats. Makes for some fun and excitement for the cats as they scramble for the treats, and gets them more active for a short time. I'm surprised no one made rolling treats before (at least that I've seen). These probably do not roll so well on carpet, but we have all hard floors. If you have hard floors, toss a few and watch the cats go nuts. Just watch out for treats rolling under furniture or appliances.

Love them
My cat was never really a fan of treats. She would be weird and smell stuff but just walk away. I got these at first mostly just because they rolled and I figured it would be more entertaining watching her chase them around. She is now addicted to them. I have this huge container along with 5 other bags. My cat instantly runs to me whenever I shake the bag and she begs for more. She has never gotten sick from them, loves them very much. Not a bad price. When she keeps meowing it's nice to shut her up for a little with these lol

Not the same treats as in the Temptation pouches and 3xs as expensive
***I DID NOT RECEIVE ANY SORT OF DISCOUNT OR COMPENSATION FOR THIS REVIEW. I PURCHASED IT FOR FULL PRICE*** But I DO Try to help people with their decision to purchase OR not purchase this product . IF You found this helpful PLEASE click YESTheyre different Temptations than you get in the pouches these are more pellets size. Also the "Value size" is very misleading. It's not much larger than the large bag of tempations except it's nearly 3 times the price. Yes my cats ate them all. No i would never buy this "value" pack for more than $10
